Did Alizee keep he maiden name? ( Sorry if this is a stupid question.)
I was just wondering when she got married if she dropped her maiden name. If this thread is in the wrong place please move it, and I am sorry.

Well JCC, it effectively doesn't matter to us as fans if she takes his name. Alizée is her stage name not Alizée Jacotey so if the Jacotey was changed to Chatelain, it wouldn't really matter.

It's like RMJ says, she didn't change her name when she married in the U.S., but we don't know if they ever got married in France or, if so, whether she changed her name.
The fact that she didn't change her name in the U.S. might indicate she preferred not to, or it might just mean they did it in a hurry and on a whim. Who knows?
