There is only one reason why Grégoire Lyonnet would quit but not announce why - Nathalie Péchalat! The two of them were not getting along (Nathalie was probably driving him nuts). There is no way he could talk about it without burning his bridge behind him (he would never be asked back).
Come to think of it, there is a possible second reason I can think of. However, it is very unlikely. That Alizée and him have been offered some kind of contract but he has to be free of DALS. I doubt that Alizée had anything to do with his leaving. Even if she was jealous, she it 30 now - an adult. They would have talked about it and would have found a way to get through the next 5 weeks.

I don't think so because DALS would have been over at the end of the month anywise. Nathalie driving him nuts is another I doubt it because she doesn't seem to have problems dealing with her Ice Skating partners. Again there is only four more weeks of DALS and he is a professional dance instructor and the students at his families studio have to be much worse than anything Nathalie could be doing to him.
Unless he was starting to be attracted to her and bailed before it became a real problem? Personally I don't see it with what he has said about his feelings for Alizée.

 Ok everyone, many thanks to Antares, Ray, Ske Leton, Jenny, Pepon, Lucas, Jacotey, ALS for their parts in helping with this little thing. Hopefully it catches on, across the fanbase at least. All I can say is Grégroire is one very very lucky dude having Alizée. Many would cut off their right arm to have what he has. And I am sure he realizes what he has.
