I'm thinking that my message would simply be to open the door, and does not require a lot of detail up front. I think if they contact Scruffy, then he can provide a much more complete explanation.

The point of my sentence was that it is because we are fans of Alizée that we learned of their association. Even though AlizeeAmerica has Alizée's name in it, someone from Corse still may be a bit confused as to what it is since I'm from the US.

Anyways, it does sound redundant so how about this:

Another issue that needs to be taken care of: We are still €100 short. I know this is probably the least of our problem, but needs to be addressed nonetheless. I think SlipshodDread had mentioned that he may be able to chip in €50. BlanckAnthem was also asking how he could donate, but I'm not sure if Dave (Scruffy) has contacted him yet.

I really wanted to get Scruffy's blessing before I passed this message on since it directs them to his email, but I think whatever avenues we have at our disposal, we should use.
