eagle eye cherry's save tonight came out in 1997, whereas moi...lolita came out in 2000.

The chords they are using for "Save Tonight" are Am, F, C, G. Using the same key, "Moi... Lolita" chords are Am, F, Dm, G.

These similiar chord patterns are all over music. As a matter of fact, many rock and blues songs over the years have used the same 3 chords. There are thousands of songs with the same exact chord patterns.
