I am here in NOVA and things shock for about a minute. We just got out of our house and waited till it was over. It made everyone come out and talk on our street.

Italians do it better.My first one was in 1977(search for Friuli quake) and the last one the big Abruzzo quake three years ago that severe damaged my grandfather's house...they are very distructive here..

I've only experienced an earthquake once:

I was in New Zealand when an earthquake rumbled in while I was in math class. We just continued going over math homework. At least, that's what I thought, only to look up and realize that everybody was under their desks but silly-unaware-of-what's-going-on-American me.
