She dressed for her last dj session like she's an established star. She was years ago, but she needs to re-establish herself. She needs to make new fans and draw back old fans. She needs to dress to impress and with her, it wouldn't take much. Look how great she looked in SAD 2003 in that denim outfit with that beautiful print shirt. It's a waste of time for her to show up the way she did at the last dj session.
She needs someone like Mylene Farmer back in her life, because she did such a great job of managing her career before. I'm sure Sony is behind these recent public appearences, which is great, but they could achieve so much more, if they handle these situations right. Alizée looks very cute, but I agree about her choice of clothes for this event. I think Cynthia (on Alizée's right) has a nicer outfit on. For that matter, it looks like all the women are better dressed than Alizée. If you didn't know Alizée, and if she wasn't sitting in the middle, I doubt you would pick her as the star among the group.
Of course maybe all of this is really unimportant in this type of setting. I don't know that these DJ events really get her new fans, since they are not focused on her music. I think it's more of an opportunity for her core fans to get to see her and meet her, as well as an opportunity to get a paycheck. If I was Alizée, I might have been more inclined to put together a small, part time band and book some gigs in smaller clubs. I would perform a collection of my songs just to keep my voice in practice and possibly win over some new fans. I think her time would be better spent doing that, than to be doing DJ gigs. But either way, it's nice that she is providing opportunities for fans to meet her.

I think she is very content with who she is and doesn't care when she hits these DJ gigs how she is dressed. It is more about being comfortable than being the best dress woman in the room. A lot of woman dress to impress and I'm getting the impression Alizée is past that point in her life.
I wish she would dress a little more stylish and professional when she is out on these promotional jobs.
