This post is about the ActuAlizée magazines from years ago. If I got my facts straight and I'm not sure of that, It was a magazine devoted completely to Alizée. I believe there were 9 issues in all. Then several members of our forum and the Alizee forum teamed up to translate them. There's a thread on it in our forum some where. I didn't really follow this very closely when it was going on so I'm wondering if they were able to use the exact same layout such as on page 2 and 3 where the English text is over a picture of Alizee. Was it the same way in the original magazine? It says RMJ did the layout and I think the pictures used were already ones out there, so I imagine it could look just like the original.

In one of my first trips to Paris, I had picked up one of those ActuAlizee magazines and I eventually sent it to Aaronius and I think it was him who organized that project.

Here are images of the 16 pages, but as often is the case with jpegs, the text isn't that clear, so I'm including a Google drive link for a pdf file where it's much clearer and here is the link to the PDF file.

A bunch of fans worked together to translate several of the issues and then recreate the pages as you showed them in English. Here is the thread they worked from: http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6268

They completed the first five issues as far as I can tell.

I thought that 5 was all they finished. Thanks for confirming that. Do you by chance have one of those first 5 in French. I was just curious to see if they were able to use the same backgrounds in the English ones.

Thanks Ray! It looks like they did a great job of making it look just like the original. If I'm not mistaken, I believe RMJ deserves most of the credit for that while several people were involved in the translation part of it.

Here is issue 5

Of the 9 ActuAlizée magazines that were published in French, this is the 5th and last issue of the ones that were translated into English. Below you will find a link to download the pdf file of this issue which is clearer and easier to read.

With this last English issue I'd like to give credit to those involved with putting together this version.

So these were the translators which in itself was a difficult job, but the much harder part was in putting these translations into the same layout as the French version and having it look almost exactly the same and I beleive that was done by RMJ or Ronny Martin Junnilainen who used to belong to both of those forums and has his own web site called Alizée Art.·

I believe a lot of credit goes too, to Aaroius31 who I believe organized this project.

Too bad these are probably not very much available "physically" anymore!
