Fortunately, not all countries are so fanatical hypocrisy and religious as good old America. There are actually still free countries in Europe

I think Europe is more religious then US but however... by us is 29 free day, so most people who works in cities will go home... however from all easter days, the "easter friday" is really nothing for people... easter sunday and monday is more important

Howewer, I agree is a pity don't know about this event before, for people who want to go there, and for our "special agent" in France mostly...

In Germany stores are closed on God Friday too. I was confused when I saw this date. I thought it's the same in France... well for me Easter doesn't matter so much. It's just about the Easter Eggs and having a few days off.

yeah I noticed that... not sure if this is a good or a bad omen for the new album.

oh and about me and attending...

So I nearly got a heart attack last night and then I couldn't sleep and slept 3 hours and was deathly tired in the morning (and it didn't help that my friend woke me up with a text message at 5:30)... but let's say when I finally was awake I was more or less in a oh-fuck-this-I-will-go-there-and-if-it-is-the-last-thing-I-do mood and luckily could rebook the hotel room (it wasn't easy tho... I mean it's Easter).

So I will go. but it really sucks that they changed the date so out of the blue.

I'm really sorry for Scruffy especially.

I don't care about a lack of freedom when I get a public holiday for it

Good Friday is not a holiday in the US, but some companies give the day off to their employees. But all the stores are open. Easter Sunday is a day that many families do get together.

Jenny, I'm glad that you are still able to go, but I also feel bad for those who won't be able to make it. I hope Scruffy can work something out.
