In September we had 63 new members join our FB group. Again, we have a wide variety of countries represented. They include:

Does the FB provide statistics on the total number of countries represented by group members [at least one member per country]?

If so, I guess something between 100-120 / 140, because probably only African and Oceanian countries are missing to a large extent?

Not that I am aware of. Often, the new members don't indicate what country they are from, but I try to keep track of the statistics when I can.

Is Alizee's popularity experiencing a resurgence? If so, what would you attribute that to. If not what do you think accounts for Alize America's burst of new members?

Hi Shepherd. I think Alizee is experiencing a resurgence in popularity for a number of reasons.

For one, the pandemic kept people online more than usual. The more people online for more time, the more chance Alizee will get "discovered" by somebody new.

Second, I think Alizee's new agent has worked wonders for her career. The cosmetic line, guest spots on a few shows, and now Hello Fresh. It kept her visible the last few years instead of fading out.

The 20th anniversary observance also helped. Any Alizee/Mylene rift that occurred back then is water under the bridge.

Alizee still is young and looks great and there is no reason she cannot continue to grow in popularity.

I think the 20th anniversary is the main reason.

I do not know the exact date, but best guess is spring or early summer 2020. Dance studio was closed due to the pandemic. All of a sudden, Alizee started doing promotions, was a guest chef on the Cyril Lignac cooking show in August, then her makeup line, and so forth up to Hello Fresh. Sometime last year I located the name of her agent but cannot remember where I saw it. Anyway, it was pretty recent and he has done a great job getting her out there.
