No idea what the price of the box set will be, but looks like it could be quite high.

The normal album will most likely be on all the usual French music sites, like http://amazon.fr and http://fnac.com. Again, I've never had trouble ordering from either of them on the same day as French people. New CDs are usually 10-20 euros, and amazon.fr gives the option of paying in US dollars. Also, if you log in using your amazon.com account, all your address and billing information should already be in the system. Makes it pretty simple.

I'm thinking more about the 45s than anything, I have never used one before, so I don't think I have anything that can play them. I tried looking them up but I got more confused

I think I'm gonna order the regular cd version as well as this one, unless it comes with a cd with the tracks already

Aw geez, Fall...with just six words, you managed to make a bunch of us feel really, really old...

Anyway, the description reads that it contains both the special edition album and the album in 45's...and the picture seems to confirm that there's a CD included, so unless I'm misreading it, I believe you're OK to buy just the special edition.

Yes, which suggests there are going to be two "normal" versions of Une Enfant du Siècle in addition to this box set, making for a total of three versions:

1. Normal CD
2. Special Edition CD (normal CD + some bonus... maybe a DVD or fancy packaging?)
3. Limited Edition Box Set (special edition CD + vinyls and other goodies)

#3 will be exclusive to the alizee-official.com pre-order, while the other two will be in stores and on normal CD buying sites.

This is all just speculation on my part, but I bet that's how it's gonna be...

Aheh, sorry there Ruroshen, actually I was a little embarrassed about admitting that I hadn't used one, most here are real music pros that have these and use them or others have at least used them before

I felt a bit like a noob

it was not my intention to make you all feel old, rather, to feel more experienced and knowledgeable. I was hoping you'd tell me a bit about them. But I see the CD now, I guess you're right, thanks!
