I don't get why you guys want a more MCE/Gourmandises/Rock thing....cause it's obviously been done twice by her and it would sort of get old(plus it wouldn't come with her sexiness). So yah I think she is going to do a more upbeat electropop thing like La Roux did with BulletProof seen here(oh and she is also from Polydor Records):

I always thought Alizée could do something maybe a little bit like Superbus...

Bulletproof isn't that bad. But I don't think Alizee is like her. Superbus is closer but still...Alizee is more mellow than Superbus, even with her newer two albums. I would think she's more of a...mm...this is hard...

Yeah, I agree. I've tried hard many a times to think of an American equivalent, in terms of music style, but I've yet to come to a conclusion..
