My response would be very similar to Deep's. Although, I wasn't depressed when I found Alizée, but her music really inspired me to work harder on my own music. I guess I had become bored with the music scene. When I discovered Alizée, it made me excited about making music again. If I ever get writer's block, I can always come up with an idea if I just think about Alizée.

@Wasabi; When I first got into Alizée I didn't feel like there was anything wrong with it, but I did wonder what my friends would think. I'm well aware of how beautiful and sexy she is, but I've never had any delusions or fantasies about "being" with her. I introduced one of my musician friends to Alizée, concerned that he would completely misunderstand my interest in her, but he didn't. He is now a fan too. After that, I never concerned myself with the issue again.
