Another recent video from last month. I thought it was very clever but I don't know if slapping a cello on the side should qualify as an arrangement. I did give him a thumbs up on YT.

In this video of a different performance, though it happens quickly, it looks like the violin and cello player are "into" the music and I enjoy it when people on stage enjoy what they are doing. The first performance was in the Netherlands and this one was two days later in Germany.

That's pretty cool. I too enjoy when people on stage enjoy what they are doing. That's probably another reason why I like Alizee so much.

I'm guessing that these are musicians from the Paris area brought along for this road trip?

I saw this in another USA Todaynewspaper crossword puzzle. For 64 down, it was looking for a three letter word. The clue is "Te _ _ _" (Spanish for "I love you").
How do those two words relate to a song Alizée sang?

This video compilation shows that for her A Contre Courant video and performances in 2003, Alizée wore the same top that she wore when she made the Moi Lolita commercial back in 2000, I believe it was. So it must have been a favorite of hers.

This is a short clip taken from a video report on Alizée in 2001.
It is from a "reportage" as they call it in France.

From 2001:

"It is a historical record in the Top 50: a singer with the first and third places at the same time and which the first single was sold to more than one million copies."

From Wikipedia:

"Alizée is one of the best-selling female French artists of the 21st century and is also the singer with most exports out of France."

I imagine MF is the top selling female French artist of the 21st century. It would be interesting to compare Alizée's and Mylene's international numbers.

Here is a video of Alizée singing "L'Alizé," Alizée - 2000-12-16 - Performance - L'Alizé - Les Petits Princes ces (by Chromex)." In this video, she can be seen at a moment when she must have been touched by the look of some of the young fans in the audience.

There is another interesting moment. At the 0:26 and 0:32 marks, you can hear a unique characteristic in her voice, which happens on a few occasions. If you do research on that, this kind of feature seems to be looked upon by some as a negative aspect of a singer's voice, but somehow, with Alizée, it seems to be a pleasing moment. I, personally, think it adds to the overall appeal of her voice and the song.

I had made a video of the same performance. It was at the end and it looked like a little brat almost pulled her into the seats. I thought it was amazing she was still smiling when it happened. I'm sure some stars would have reacted differently.
