Default Alizée’s most memorable video moments

I am sorry to be filling the space with all these threads, but I am almost done with my Christmas vacation and I would like to get through as many topics as I can while I have some spare time to dedicate to this.

I would like to ask what people think are Alizée’s most memorable moments on video, so some of us (well, mainly me, I suppose might find some great moments that we have missed. Memorable can be anything you want it to be. You decide. This topic was discussed briefly in a 2006 thread, but I wouldn’t mind a fresher look on this subject, and a list, rather than a single moment:

http://www.alizeeamerica.com/forums/...=video+moments

Although my list keeps changing these days, here it is so far. As most people who like her videos, I could add dozens more, but I tried to keep it reasonably short. In no particular order:

- Stars à domicile (2001): her tears as she understands how much she means for her fans
- Stars à domicile (2003): rushes into the store and sings with Jessica
- Fun TV (2003): her reaction to Lucas (host) being grossed out by her first Japanese "treat"
- Fun TV (2003): unwraps the Tinker Bell
- Fan de (2003): she refuses to wink (".... Noooooooonnnn")
- Japan trip footage: surprised reaction at the end, while at the airport
- En concert: during the guitar solo at the end of TDM
- En concert: her back/front flips while “loup y es-tu pour moi” on Gourmandises
- En concert: her entrance on stage on Gourmandises
- En concert: the LO...LI...TA... part of Moi... Lolita
- En concert: walks below stage in front of crowd during ACC
- En concert: when she says: "I wanted to thank you all for your welcome (votre accueil), because from up there at the top of my shoe, you make my heart beat and I hope we will spend a great evening together."
- La Méthode Cauet : when the topic of the veracity of the name "Alizée" is brought up

Please try to list particular "moments" rather than just saying "the whole interview" or the "whole performance of the song". But, if you can’t find a specific moment (like for the JEAM renditions in the sailor outfit!), that is fine too.

I love this place! Thanks to all the ones who feed us with thoughts and ideas. Really nice crowd in here.

I would have to say my most memorable Alizée video moment would have to be the whole video. The very first video of Alizée I ever saw. That moment, when I saw her for the first time I shall not soon forget. It was Alizée performing the cover of Madonnas LIB.
and the best moment was at the end, for I thought she was Spanish until at the end she says merci in French! But my favorite video by far is the one Scruff did of JPVA in front of the Eiffel Tower.

My heart skips a few beats. I love it and hate it at the same time because Alizée seems to roll with it while being overwhelmed by the sheer amplitude of her power.

One comment about this footage. The guy’s accent at the beginning is not French. I think it is from one of those other European shows of the era. Some of the sound is obviously not from a French TV show while the footage is from France 3.

Maybe with your better understanding of French, you could explain what she meant when she said "at the top of my shoe".

It's a great list. I think one thing you missed was when a stuffed animal was tossed up on stage during En Concert, the way she cleverly dodged it.

You said not to try and mention whole performances, but one whole one I'd have to include is Moi Lolita Amsterdam. I just took a quick look through it and there's so many moments I love, the parts where she flips her head, when she's moving from back to front where unfortunately the cameras too high to get a good look at her dance steps and just the way she danced with such poise for a girl of sixteen and she looked so happy while doing it.

I also liked the 2 moments where she was surprised. One being on the first SAD and the second being on an interview in Spain I believe it was.

Aaron already found one of my favorite moments. Not only one of my favorites for the beautiful smile, but also the little look of embarressment she gets when people start clapping to ML.

Thanks for the video Scruffs
EDIT:

I was just looking through some of my other videos and I found this one of when she was sprayed with cold water during the filming of JAM and I almost forgot that incredibly beautiful smile that came across her face after her performance of JPVA that was filmed in front of the Eiffel tower on the occassion that was celebrating the completion of the installation of strobe lights all up and down the tower.

Ahh, you stole my favorite moment: when she unwraps the Tinkerbell on FunTV and does that little squeal. Hehe!

Scruffy,

I have more comments about your post but I have to run now...

The “at the top of my shoe” is just my liberal translation of what she said in French. She is just referring to the fact that while she was initially at the top of the shoe (stage prop) at the beginning of the show, she was really moved by the crowd’s reaction. When she says this (between HA and TDM if I am not mistaken) she is really the cutest thing in the world.

Just a couple more I missed,
How could we leave out the JAM commercial,

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QWnDPKZNhbk?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QWnDPKZNhbk?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Then there was the time she was all most pulled into the audience by a little brat. It's tougher to see with the reduced resolution Youtube video.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mf3jIXqo-9A?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mf3jIXqo-9A?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I haven't seen many of the latter posted videos, and all I can say is I'm in forever debt. I died a little cause of a cuteness overload.

As for my favorite, I haven't cut the video personally but I noticed a cute little subtle stumble on a Mademoiselle Juliette performance.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/--2DLScviGY?fs=1&amp;hl=sv_SE"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/--2DLScviGY?fs=1&amp;hl=sv_SE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

It's at 1.38, but if you aren't insisting on watching it on the site directly I've hyperlinked it to the time-stamp here.
