JPVA En Concert discussion...
Ok so here please speculate your head off as to why JPVA was never on the En Concert CD, and only in the DVD.
My idea is that since she didn't actually sing in a couple parts since she was out of breath, they decided not to put it in. Also the live version is too good to be put on a CD

The reason you stated seems to be the most plausible. If space was a factor on the cd and they had to leave one song off, I guess that would kind of give some one an easy out, of a tough decision. If space wasn't a factor, they must have been afraid of how that section where she stopped singing would sound, especially on a cd where you cant really see that she might be out of breath or tired.

I think you've both nailed it.
The En Concert version of JPVA does have many gaps in which she doesn't sing, so putting that on an audio CD wouldn't have been too wise an idea. But it does bring up the question.. why did they include Intralizée?

There were a few songs in this concert where I thought her studio version was better than her En Concert version, but L'e-mail a des ailes was not one of them. It sounded great in En Concert.
It had to be a very tough decision to leave out a couple of songs as I'm guessing there wasn't enough room for all of them. JPVA, kind of made that one a some what easier choice because of the gaps. As to which other song they left out, no matter which one they chose, they would have pissed off a lot of people. |

Wow so I never noticed there were 2 songs left off But yah your right Scruff, they would have had to leave some off, and either way not everyone would be pleased with the choices. Now I understand, thanks guys!
