J’en Ai Marre is a perfect example of the power of Alizée. While it is a good song, I wouldn’t characterize it as great in its composition. What really makes this song work is Alizée’s voice. I especially like the sound of her voice in the verses when she is singing in a lower register. It’s like a warm bath after being out in the wet and cold all day. Imagine someone else singing it and it won’t seem special. Of course there is also the unforgettable dance she did...
