iHate Auto-Tune!
Tick Tock is a terrible song, I'll agree in half a heartbeat, Rawdg. I can't believe all the "auto-tune" and vocoder songs that pass as "fresh" these days. My 12-yr old daughter mentioned this song when I was playing the Stones (on vinyl) the other day. (Exile On Main Street, no less) But she likes the band "Owl City", where it's just one guy, and he has different vocalists for every song, yet (thanks to auto-tune) they all sound like the same singer. What's a father to do?
(*Deepwaters (or any other fathers out there), any advice? I'm drowning here! ) All the same, it is good to see that Mexico is accepting and making a hit of "Les Collines". They've fallen under the spell, and can't escape. They've seen Alizée, she's known there, what else can they do? If only American radio would play this song... Still, that may not be so far off - just tonight me and mrs. chuck saw the new "Windows 7" commercial on TV featuring a "French" woman speaking the praises of "Windows Sept" in French! To me, that's just more evidence that our country is so ready for hurricane Alizée to take us all by storm. But could she make it soon, please? American radio just sucks these days. We need help! Please hurry!

I cannot describe the feeling of elation I felt upon seeing our girl on top of Lady Gaga! I know it is Mexico, but still. That just shows that we still have their support, and La Candida was a good idea. I hope France realizées that she belongs in their top 5 as well!
