Alizée will start a european concert tour in early 2014
She just dropped this piece of breaking news on radio.
As we now know from the never ending postponements of her latest album we can never take what she says for granted , but at least we know that she's gonna be on stage for a long period of time , a new Psyché-tour? let's hope so |

I'll believe it when I see it. She's planned/promised concerts before that never happened.

Well I think the first thing she needs in order to do a tour is for this album to be considered a success and we are still a ways away from the point where we can make that determination, but they are promoting the hell out of it, so let's see what happens.

however... I find "early 2014" for potential concert/s, really late time...

I hope the new album is successful. I would love to see her do a european tour. Maybe I can plan a trip to France when she is touring. Fingers crossed.

When we talked to the Sony rep, she said there were no conrete plans for a concert yet, but she was thinking september as a likely time frame for one. Next year seems way too far off unless they have plans for other things in the mean time.

The last time she had a concert scheduled at The Rex in Paris, me and two of my girlfriends got tickets. We booked the flight and hotel for that weekend only to find out, two weeks before we were to leave, that the concert had been cancelled. We decided to go anyway and do the tourist thing. But I believe along with the other members above that:
a) to give a concert a year after the album has been released is crazy. You usually go on tour to promote your album. b) I have not heard anything from the media about this new album being a success. If it were, you would think that Sony would be promoting the hell out of it. |
