Hmm...I've always said it as "ah-lee-zay" so i dunno :P maybe you're thinking the ée would sound something like an english ee? if so, you need to remember the accent ^^

Believe it or not, syllables like “zay” and “may” are commonly used all the time in English to French phrase books published here in the USA. As Brad pointed out, for the English speaking American newcomer to Alizée, it’s a close enough approximation. Deepwaters wrote a fine post on the subject, but putting something that in-depth on the home page here would be overkill.

Once one has been around here as long as most of us have, one will have heard her name spoken hundreds of times and will become aware of the correct pronunciation. Or they can simply just read this thread...
