'Nother update from Scruffy:

Our letter was processed through New York Saturday around 8 a.m. Next stop will probably be Europe.

The check for the donation that Brian01 and Scruffy mailed in on the 17th of last month was cashed on the 27th. We have not seen any notifications on any facebook pages from Jean Baptiste's father about the donation, but it's possible that if he posted something in French, we may have misssed it, but we think it's more likely he sent us some sort of reply by regular mail.

It's also possible that though he accepted the check and I'm sure he wouldn't have accepted it if there wasn't a need that he might still be upset by some of the local criticism he received and therefore may not reply.

All we can do is hope he understands we had good intentions and that he puts the money to good use towards this cause.

But right now it looks like we once again have to play the waiting game.
