Bastille Day
Happy Bastille Day everyone. Here in St. Louis, we celebrate this day throughout the area:
St. Louis Square Park, 7:00 a.m. Carondelet nieghborhood celebration of Bastille Day with flea market at 7:00 a.m., live music beginning at 11:00 a.m., and beheadings at noon, 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Area vendors will be on hand.
LET THEM EAT ART: Maplewood, Missouri’s whimsical tribute to Bastille Day, in St. Louis County. 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Musical entertainment includes Gene Dobbs Bradford Blues Experience, Gumbohead, The Elliot Ranney Trio, Terri Langerak, Forewind, and more. Night of a Thousand Cupcakes (1,000 cupcake giveaway), food and drink specials, fire shooting ice cream truck, face painting, dream interpretation, Mad Science, St. Louis Hoop club, Exotic Rhythms Bellydance, Hiroshi Tada Top Spinning, Claire the Clown, Carrie Hawkins, Chad Jones, Henryk Ptasiewiczs Drawing Group and more will be on hand for the celebration.
