Transformers...

Good movie. Great fight scenes. The movie was more a comedy than action though.
Optimus Prime with those Jackie Chan moves in the forest scene were crazy.
The whole deal on the resurrection thing was weird too machines automatically getting fixed because of a key? Sounds far fetched too me.

Megan Fox...SO HOT, probably the hottest girl on the face of this earth.

9/10 I give the movie.

It was really nice to see some autobots kick some ass this movie, I felt like they got the short end of that stick in the first one. Optimus was impressive, and the forest scene was almost worth the price of admission itself.

On the other, the rest was absolutely atrocious. The twins were just ridiculous and stupid. They had one or two decent lines but to have as much screen time as they had thats pitiful, not to mention just flat out how bad a concept they were. The old transformer also got to me. I understand he's decaying and all, but a bloody cane? And he talks like an old geezer? The new character seemed really unnecessary. All he did was introduce the Sector 7 guy, and he got too big a role to add otherwise nothing to the entire story. This movie was frankly too long to have so many dead weight scenes/characters in it.
I sort of liked what they did with Jetfire.
He was of course my favorite Transformer so I may be a little bit biased.

Yeah, this has bothered me more and more the more time I've had to think about it. The twins were certainly the worst offenders, what with the ebonics and the distinctly simian facial features, and the one that actually has a gold tooth , but they weren't the only ones. The insecticon scientist who we see in a torture/interrogation scene has a German accent. The Decepticon stool-pigeon with the fear of being "whacked" is played up to sound Italian-American...

And that's just the robot characters. Seriously, the whole thing could have been called "Transformers 2: Bad Ethnic Stereotypes On Parade".

Yeah, I'll give you that. They did invest Jetfire with more personality in the movie than he's ever had in the cartoon or the comics, where he's always been kind of a cipher. I also really dug how they updated Soundwave and Ravage for the 21st century, although I wish they'd given them more to do.

Yeah, I didn't really notice the surgeon bot because I just heard gibberish, but very good point about the little RC truck.

Finally got around to seeing The Hangover. Good movie but not as excellent as i thought it would be. Top 250 worthy on imdb? Nah, but it was pretty solid, if farfetched.
