Exactly what is the jury The voice ?

I couldn't get into AF to try and get some info about this, but I did a google search and came up with this which was a thread started on Alizee France, late on the 21st.

The voice is a music reality show. I will do my best to explain:

THe first episode of the show, had 4 famous singers as judges. they sat with their backs facing away from the stage, and could only judge the contestants based on their voices.

When the celeb heard a voice they really liked, the voted to add that contestant to their "team"

Now every week, a member from each team competes against another, singing a song picked by their celeb leader.

Thats about all I know, I dont know how they pick a winner, or what the winner gets, I have only seen a few episode, and never all the way through But its a cool show, because the celebs are coaches as well, so they help train the contestants before they sing each week.

I guess thats what the rumor is saying. Looking around on youtube, there are other countries that have their own versions of The Voice. So it would make sense that France may be starting one up also.

The show is schedule for 2012 in France, on TF1.
But I have no news about Alizee being in the jury...

If this is true, this would be a great exposure for Alizee. I'm always checking her FB for confirmation. I'm not really into The Voice or American Idol or any other talent contest. But, if Alizee is there, there I'd be watching it every time!

Just imagine...we would get to see FULL episodes of her on TV(on the internet actually lol) every week I would probably melt into the abyss of parametrization if this happened...

I don't think it will happen because she will be working on her next album, and will be promoting it in 2012 on all the French networks. Possibly a short tour too in 2012 depending on how well the CD is received.

If she is able to do both promoting and The Voice, she'd be getting a TON of promotion. Do you guys know just how many people wath TV vice listening to the radio?! A crazy amount. And Alizée would be able to perform on The Voice too...
