"lol" seems to have mutated from a literal "lots of laughter" into a more generic expression of emotion, and sometimes even just a sentence/phrase delimiter. Some (erstwhile) members of this forum used "lol" instead of ".".

On the internet "LOL" has always meant Laughing Out Loud. People using it often in the wrong way, so easily misunderstood.

guys, guys chill, her new album is not doing bad at all, quite to contrary; its doing great. Her album is in the top 10 best selling in France if not the top 5 last I checked. So stop getting worried, Alizee is doing great. Also her Album is still selling, after her tour is when your going to see the real sales in her Album. There's still plenty more selling to be done!
