Default doing well

Actually, like others, when I first listened to the new album, I was lukewarm about it, but the more I listened to it, the more I like it. It is a departure from her earlier work somewhat. The first album I ever purchased of hers was her second one, so I reallly liked that one. Then when I bought the first one, the same thing happened. Now, I have all three in the car on the player lined up to play, as well as loaded on the the ipod. At 56 years old, that is saying a lot. I come from the Beatles era. Her video, I'm not twenty is what first captured my attention and I have this website to thank for that.

My wife and I just celebrated 34 years together and on our 30th, we went to Switzerland and Italy. We had planned to go to England/France next but are a little short on funds. So, we have two free tickets to anywhere in the states and are going to Sequoia National Park in June to see the redwoods. I will post photos if anyone is interested. I was in Paris in 1973 for a week and found it to be a beautiful city, so I still will push to go there as well as take the chunnel to England.

So did the album peak at number 16? How did the single do?

Sorry, just haven't had enough Alizée time to keep up with things.

(Also don't know French and a bit of a computer mong.)

Alizee is in the top 100 internationally. 35k in France? um three months to four months ago maybe.

Shes 77 in the world....

The no. 2 top billboard only sold 100,00 so her sales are excellent. Im so fkn sick of the naysayers who are quick to down her without adequate proof. please dont make negative remarks without a link to back you up. Its ez to cut people down when you talk in the wind.

so Alizee gets good sales! that's great, the uplifting for the beautiful Lili right here and right now. I know I want her to stay around, she needs to succeed even if I'm not a fan of her new music style, I don't matter that much. She, however, does matter very much because nevermind I want it or not, this is her new path she has taken and it's firmly going so generally no more negative complaining from my side you'll hear in the future, I'll just stay as an observer to what's happening for the time being. And more so this, I believe, is very important for those that love her latest musical creation.

Anyway Alizee doesn't do bad and I'm most optimistic about her sale figures just as I am optimistic about her career life in general. I'm on the bright side today that I woke up.

I tell you what - I LOVE reading that i'm not so alone in my age bracket here!

Want to hear a heartbreaker Terry? I used to have, in my own little collection, an un-opened copy of the Beatles White Album..... Mom got it - and never listened to it. After my folks divorced... it grew legs......

Grats also to you for 34 yrs. together!

Ed
