Une Enfant Du Siecle - CD
Which songs from this CD do you all enjoy the most? I know/understand this style of music is not real popular amongst Alizee fans, but I think that there are 4 great songs here. They show her voice in much a different way, but its still her and her voice that make these songs tick for me.
Grand Central Limelight Les Collines 14 Decembre A Coeur Fendre those are my favorites from her new cd. MZ |

Eden, Eden will always be one of my favorite songs ever.
Speaking of UEdS MARCHING SEASON IS ALMOST HERE AGAIN meaning I'll be listening to a LOT more UEdS, my go-to album for catching up on sleep during bus rides. Excitement!

I had forgotten for a bit just how good this album really is, so my thanks for reminding me to give it another listen!
I would say that, in no particular order, I most enjoy: Eden Eden, sdfksdlf... haha, every time I try and do this, it never works out. I always end up wanting to name them all. All I can say is that it's an incredibly well put together album.

I don't like UEdS the same way I like MCE and Psychédélices, but I love the songs 14 décembre, À cœur fendre, Une fille difficile, Grand Central and Les Collines

This is not a "easy" album for most of pop consumer, people with a wider earing experience (classic,70' electronic, etc) would be love it more, I presume...

I go for "14 décembre", "Une fille difficile", or "Grand Central" the most, while a couple of the songs in there I often skip over completely. "La Candida" holds little appeal for me, not because of the language but because of the overblown production. And to me, it sounds rather out-of-place here. I mean, it would make some sense if it referred to some "lost year" Edie had spent wasted in Spain or something, but that never actually happened. (or did it? ???????) |
