"Really big shoe" - I actually said that once, trying to do a Sullivan impersonation, while watching the concert dvd. The missus just rolled her eyes. The kids politely pretended to ignore me.

But today we were listening to Joy Division. It seemed about as far from Alizée as you could get. (okay, the other night it was Nugent, he's pretty far, too.) Anyway, it was Still, J.D.'s awesome live double album. Then, halfway through it, they tear into "Sister Ray", by the Velvet Underground. And in my head, I'm thinking "Velvet Underground --> Lou Reed --> Andy Warhol --> Edie --> Alizée!" Now that's havin' it bad.

p.s. I wonder if Lilly likes Joy Division. Or Terrible Ted?

I think the first song I heard of hers, well heard of I should say, was J'ai pas Vingt Ans, but it wasn't the first song of hers I heard (it was either L'Alize or Moi... Lolita - forget now which my bf played for me first - he played a handful that day when he showed me who she was). But this was technically AFTER JEAM had come out, FWIW.

when someone calls you in his room to solve some problem with the laptops and what you do after solving problems, just download songs of Alizée in their HDD.
That I do with my friends.

You know you're an Alizée fan when you're on your radio show & are ready to play Alizée but then remember you only play Hip-Hop music on your show. (One day, I'm gonna play Mon Maquis though because it's close enough, lol.)

I could do Decollage. But I'm not a big fan of it. I think Mon Maquis did a better job, even if it wasn't what they were aiming for with the song.
