Just discovered A Quoi Reve Une Jeune Fille!
Call me slow if you wish, but I've only just now listened to this song. I think I've been sort of hung up on her other songs from the first two records and ignored this one. Basically, I just can't find the words to describe it's beautiful. The melody, the voice, just wow, absolutely amazing! I thought to myself, where has this song been all this time?
Yes, I've read that it's supposedly about suicide, but I don't care. This is easily one of my favorite songs from Alizee. Maybe it's even a good thing that I don't know any French, because I think it would take away something from my enjoyment of the song to be honest. The moment I heard it, it painted a mental picture of Alizee singing it in some majestic cathedral where the acoustics would allow the voice and melody to reverberate through the hall and outwards into the world. I'm honestly bemused as to why this song in not mentioned more often. After listening to it, I just felt completely at peace. What do you all think about it?

Its a hidden gem indeed. Great atmosphere. It has become my most played from the 1st album. I absolutely love the piano in this one, blending with her voice in a beautiful harmony. I like to listen to those details in the arrangements, really like the attention LB puts in composition. Its more than "bubble gum pop" for sure.

this is definitely up there on my top Alizee songs.
it's not that usual catchy pop music im used to, but at the same time, it's a very mellow and beautiful song... i fell in love with it after i saw that one Alizee video on google videos which had the song playing as the background music. which was actually very fitting. the video was about how Alizee went from a little girl to achieve her dreams, and that's what the song is about, isn't it?

don't feel bad.... I have a confession to make too
 after all this time... I had only listened to the rest of Psychédélices (other than Mj and 5060) like two days ago. I don't remember any of the songs past track four, but I LOVED "Mon Taxi" and "Jamais Plus"

So if we already dig out ancient topic, I add somethimg too
 "A quoi rěve une jeune fille" for me is in "wrong" place in album, just after Gourmadises, song that reverbs in my mind for some time after listening to it, so AQRUJF (great acronym ) is passing without my attention. Only when I concentrate on A quoi... I hear so many things there, the melody is hypnotising me. However I prefer AbracadabraEvery day I listen to only one album (different each day) and discover new things in songs that, I thought, was clear to me.
