Academy Awards
 

Hey did anybody here watch the awards show, I watched the first part but I noticed that Ellen Page (who I think is cute) if I remember right kind had her hair styled like Alizee (all wavey and stuff) and she was wearing a black dress. Now I'm not saying that they look exactly alike but in some pictures Ellen kind of looks like she could be related to Alizee. Just a passing thought is all.

nah, i skipped out on it. i hear it was the least watched award ceremony ever. some damn good movies and actors and actresses that were nominated though. and congrats to marion cotillard.

Watched a little of it, but Juno was the best movie i've seen in a while and I knew it didn't stand a chance. Comedies never get many awards.

Juno won for best original screenplay, so it didn't do so bad :)

Teen pregnancy indie sarcastic comedies get even fewer.

I felt it was a pretty weak year overall, though I've heard fantastic things about There Will Be Blood, Juno, and La Vie En Rose, so I may try watching those sometime in the near future.

anybody else think that "no country for old men" was a crappy movie and didnt deserve an academy award for best picture besides me? that was a terrible damn movie.

if anybody wants to debate with me on why it was an "academy award" worthy movie, im all ears.
