There is of course that big laugh in the FunTv interview, but also the abominably cute nose crinkle when the guy says that she will answer all questions and she says "tout?" in that doubtful way.
I also love how absolutely beautiful/cute to perfection she was in that (MTV?) video with the Italian guys and the moment that she has done on other occasions too of looking up a bit to the side at someone and smiling a really pretty smile.
And, my memory is really not anywhere as good as I wish it was. I always thank you CFHollister or whoever for reminding me of that day in Paris. She definitely looked back at us at least a few times and she was all smiles that day. I should always remember that. But, I just about had a similar experience in Mexico except that there was a whole crowd of people and not so personal. I tried to give her a big bouquet of flowers and I guess she eventually got them, but I couldn't give them directly to her unfortunately.

Other moments though that have a special energy ...
when she turns during the JEAM dance and sort of looks down as though to her behind where one can see a nice fishy and then gives a coy look to the audience like of course she's showing herself off, but in a teasing way and then smiles really big like she can't hold back the pretense. It is a subtle thing that one may not notice the first time of seeing the video. That and other things about the way she moves her mouth while singing that song and the way her voice is too. It's the ultimate seduction. So, then she might come around and say she's not really the type to go around doing that sort of thing, but she certainly had the talent to do it perfectly. So, maybe she's a fabulous actrice, but also I think it's something about a really sexy young woman that flows quite naturally. It's not even just how she looks, but how she moved and her facial expressions. Even when she wasn't smiling exactly, she pursed her lips in a particular way. So other times too, the way she moves her lips with certain expressions is adorable. When she was in her teens and did all this stuff that was really adorable and sexy while performing it all seemed so natural even though obviously some of it was part of the performance.

But, one can still see some of those cute expressions that she does during non-performances that are obviously just natural movements. And she made some real expressions of joy that were really incredible during the Mexico concerts. I think of that in particular because of some of the still shots that were taken, one in particular by RMJ where she had her hands thrown up and kind of yelling/smiling mouth with an expression of an explosion of vibrant, uh what's the word?, Lili-force? It was a shot that expressed the joyful mood of the whole concert experience. It was in a sense the best photo I've seen from anyone because of the awesome fun happy energy that seems apparent in the shot.

I like the description of Alizée in instant-mag2 that talks about her creating costumes for the dance/performance that she was to give along with others in her performance school in Ajaccio. It said she would keep the costumes absolutely secret until the performance time even rehearsing in plain clothes. Read that translation. It's really nice how it describes her ambition and talent early on and the way she led her class-mates. I really like thinking of her in that position of successfully creating her works. It makes one think that it is natural that she wanted to go off on her own because even from the earliest days she has had her own creativity. I'm proud of her for that and add it to the list.

And an aside: even if she's not done particularly well with sales in France, look what she did with Psychédélices. It certainly is a successful creation. And, believe me, I've been living here in France for almost 8 weeks and at least in this time I can tell you that at the dance clubs/bars I've been to and the radio stations I keep flipping through, there isn't better music. It's not a matter of Alizée not being good enough. I don't know what it is. Partially that they like another style of music or it's popular right now and partially because they like American music or at least in English.

At certain times with certain songs, her voice just has the best balance of sweet girliness but also and evenness that stops it from going too far. Certain songs at least, her voice is just so heavenly while if I stop and think about it, I'm sure she's not trying to be that way, just trying to sing the song right. It's the way her voice is not too much or not overloaded. She sings whatever kind of music, but it's tempered by her voice, the voice which speaks of her personality. So, that's how we love her personality and her voice, because they both suggest a young woman that brings us a feeling which makes us want to use the word goddess.
At the same time, she also has a personality with some fiest.
We looove seeing her get a little spunky every once in a while. Spunk is crucial as well. But she's shown that just enough that's it's a little bit of a surprise too. Un joli cadeau. So, she got a little "spunky" in that FunTv interview and people really love that too. Even now we see that sometimes. We get a little imagination of what she's like behind the scenes. Well, she's probably at bit more mellow now at this stage in her life, but still. So many things like that just seemed simple and natural. It's like, everything that Alizée has done was just all in good fun. That's something that I like. That's something that we should remember. We just think, it's all in good fun. That's what Alizée represents while also being a woman very attractive in so many other ways. So, that makes one fall in love with her. Then, we want this goddess to stay with us always and have her as a person to follow and cherish. Well, we can buy her albums at least.

That's enough for now.
