I don’t think the dancing is that bad, actually. Also, one has to take into consideration that she is singing live, so it is much harder to just concentrate on the choreography. Take away the stress and demands of live singing and allow this amateur to hone the dancing and she would have been quite good at it, I’m sure.
One thing that I have always noticed is that the JEAM choreography seems less aesthetically pleasing when performed by a taller woman (especially with long arms), even if quite well executed:
