This is probably a subject I should stay off of because too much was said in the past but what the heck. I don't like them at all. I understand the reasons for her getting them, but that doesn't mean I have to like them.

I think one thing is, she was too young to realize as a celebrity, she was a representative to the world of the beauty of Corsican women. How important was that to Corsica?

Now that it's ancient history, she used to live in a apartment or condo where she had a great view of the Blood islands. I'm sure she treasured that view. What would she have done if she woke up one morning and saw these construction cranes putting up a pair of golden arches ala MacDonald's that was going to block her view of those islands? She would ran down there with a sledge hammer.

As important that view was to her, she should have realized the view she presented was just as beautiful and just as important to people who were lucky enough to see it.

Getting past the gecko or what ever it was that she got early on, there was the Tinkerbell one on her back. Now I believe her father had one of Peter Pan on his chest, so her getting one of Tinker is understandable, but why did it have to be so large.

The next two were the ones of Annily and then there was a 2 or 20 which is the postal code for Ajaccio. With her love for her daughter and Ajaccio, they too were understandable.

Then if history serves me right, she moved back to Ajaccio and then got a rash of tattoos on her arm. That was such a hard time, watching the incredibly beautiful young woman throwing her beauty away inch by inch. But I think there was a understandable reason for this. This was after her separation and I think she did it partly out of depression.

As far as post MF work, I'm not a big fan. On Psych, I think PLP was the only "very" good song. The outfits for her tour and her dancing couldn't hold a candle to what she did during the MF days and something I've said many times before the people of France saw clips of the concerts that took place in Russia and Mexico. They new what she was capable of and they wanted no part of this.

One other thing that may have been a big factor with the lack of success of Psych. Supposedly there was bad blood between Alizee and MF over the song Idealiser. It's been said the most of the Alizee fans in France were Mylene fans first and when they split with rumors of bad blood, well they went back to the woman they had followed for many years.

Unfortunately her Psych album might have set the tone I'd guess you call it for her other albums. French fans weren't happy with Psych, weren't happy with rumors about the split, so to win these fans over, though she did have some very good songs in her other albums, she couldn't come up with that one killer of a song that would get her past those obstacles.

One thing I sound like a broken record on was the album Blonde. I think it had 2 very good songs on it in K.O. and Alcaline. Alcaline was a simple story of which they could have made a very good video for her for little money. It was perfect for her, but they put all their eggs in the Blonde video basket and the rest is history.
