Interesting; we got to see how that was done against a plain backdrop, and all the effects (the water reflection, background, etc.) are all CGI.

Well Sony didnt post them directly, but the pictures are from them.
As u know most of the mexican fans work for Sony. I think it was in Alizée Mexico or Alizée Latino where i saw the other 2 pictures.

I don't know, Jess, I think it needs some work. That's Alizée's face on a body that's too tall and statuesque to be her, and to my eyes that guy doesn't begin to look like the J-man.

Then again, we know how she is about being photographed with Jérémy anyway, so maybe the fact that it looks like someone else is more realistic. So keep him, just make her body look right. :p

Actually it's more than just her face, and the characters that you described as statuesque are purposely done this way, if you notice the male character looks this way too. They're not real people they're characters that were created with a 3D animation program called Poser. I retouched Alizée on photoshop to make it look more like her, was not really concerned with him, although I think he looks better this way... ;)

Well, he looks better, but I thought you were aiming for Jérémy. That fellow looks far too neat, tidy, conservative, and boring. If you want Jérémy, you need to give him a two-day beard, tousled hair, weird clothes, a goofy grin, and a slouched, bad-boy posture. Keep the coloring, and you'll just about have it. ;)

Of course I'm not familiar with the program you're talking about, so that may be beyond its scope.

I agree with you on this, the funny thing is you actually just read my exact thoughts when I was working on this :D. But I wanted him to match and look more like Alizée, nice and neat not scruffy like he always looks, lol. ;)

yeah, you have done a good job jess, its a master thinking, actually the face of alizee is perfectly matched with the the body, but as deep said that the male character is not looking like j-man, but i know its a very difficult task to make a 3d character like the face of j-man, but, finally your work is awesome!

I was just laughing to myself at all our comments of Jeremy, he has no idea, poor fellow. I think Alizée sees beyond that though, I have enough respect for her better judgement to think that there was (is) a reason for her to be with him. I think he's really a nice guy with her, I like that about him, can't think of any other reason though... :p

It's hard to tell with camera angles and other photo settings, etc. Looking at stills from that Star Ac performance, looking at her legs, it looks like she has been working out.

I think Alizée didn't show often her real feelings. Interview and Tv show are not a place for such emotionnal confidence. But i'm sure she have being through a lot of difficults moments during her first 4 years of succes, and that she kept secret wound in her heart.

There's a lot of drive and fun in Psychédélices (the album, not the song). Decollage, Lily Town, Lonely Liste, Mademoiselle Juliette, Fifty-Sixty, these all drive and they're all fun. Par les paupieres isn't so driving or fun, especially if you understand the lyrics, but the music and her voice are incredible on it. Other songs are slower and more melodic, and some are sad. So? Mylène and Laurent wrote slow, sad songs for her in the past, too.

What I've found about this album is that it grows on you. It gets better every time you hear it. I'm even starting to like L'effet, which I definitely didn't on first hearing. (It's even got me thinking I'd like to check out some other jazz, which has never been my favorite genre.) Give it a chance, OK?

As for fake smiles, I'm not really sure what constitutes a "fake" smile. Alizée has some really great real smiles or sure look that way, but I also like some of the cheesy grin smiles, like on that first NRJ radio appearance. It's like, if you get the idea that the person is actually happy to smile whether or not she is "faking" it, it's still good.

By the way, I don't really care for the wearing of stockings a lot, like the red one's from that magazine, but it does look good with some outfits, like the afore mentioned dress. It also looked cute when she was wearing them in that NRJ radio appearance when Jessica was wearing something similar at the Virgin Megastore. Though, in either case, I would like it just as much without. But, you know, it's autumn/winter here; so, that's appropriate when out and about.

Great pictures, still can see Alizee lacks confidence. Interesting girl isn't she? After all the years she spent in social ambience and that of Mylene Farmer she still looks a puzzled and sophisticated, emotionally tightened up nature. I can see she's not at all like other singers in the world, and she's not 23 by today's society standards, and those baby eyes... I believe she is a Indigo child, a divine personality. Everything about her till today brings me to this idea. If you know Alizee and you are familiar to Indigo Children phenomenon psychology is talking about, you know it fits well. Not many people have such deep, pure eyes, baby faces and charismatic smile, the Indigos, on the other side, do have. Yep, Alizee is an angel, really-really uncommon girl character. :cool:

LOL....i thought i was the only one who noticed that RMJ posts on her Myspace site everyday. Also, I loved the picture you made for Alizee's site, Jess! That was great!!! You put most of the Alizee USA members at the bottom of the picture...at least the active ones. That was Awesome! I'm sure she loved it, too.

I'm glad somebody caught that expression! We spent a while trying to describe it to Roman, who obviously had to have his back turned to show her the tattoo. It's a great picture.

Hmmm, for some reason I don't remember seeing these pictures ever show up here, despite the fact they became available Nov 19th. They're not pics of Alizée herself, but rather are some details of the MJ video set, taken by the lady at Stoul, who designed a lot of decor pieces.
