Okay , this started life ( as all the best ideas do ) in a semi-drunken conversation last night and I thought we could all use a bit of a giggle anyway. So I want your answer to the title question , the more obscure and random the answer all the better and let's see how quickly we can get to 100.
So , you know you're an Alizée fan when...
1) you can find the accented é on your computer keyboard.
2) you get over-excited by the numbers 50 and 60.
3) you get annoyed when you see "Moi... Lolita" written without the three full stop trail.
4) you can turn absolutely any conversation onto Alizée.
e.g. " I find my studies of the ancient Japanese Shinto religion to be very eye-opening"
"You know Alizée did a Japanese advert once"
5) you start supporting the French team playing against your own country.(French fans excepted)
So over to you guys and girls.:D

...your heart leaps whenever you think you hear the intro to J'en ai Marre! on the radio, then breaks a little when you realize it's actually Viva la Vida.
(Gets me every time, dammit!)
Word Ruroshen!
Few weeks ago when I was eating breakfast I thought I heard J'en ai Marre on the radio for an instant, but after 2sec I realized that it was just Viva la Vida.. A few seconds after that point, to my suprise, I can clearly hear that it actually IS J'en ai Marre!, I freaked out with happiness :)
Was like a rollercoaster. Viva la Alizée !

If you're actively listening and paying attention, then yes, I agree it's easy to tell them apart...but if you're just hearing the first few chords in the background while you're focusing on something else, I'd argue it's not hard to confuse them, at least for the first few seconds.

My boyfriend loved that one; incidentally, the first time saw me (well the first time he spoke to me anyway), he said I looked exactly what he imagined Alizee looking like if she were a cheerleader... I didn't know who she was then, but knowing now (especially how he practically worships her) how he has this fantasy girl image of her, I take it as a compliment. ;)

Like she has in J’ai Pas Vingt Ans (like in this pic (http://www.tccandler.com/images/celebs/alizee%20jacotey%20still%201.jpg), more or less). I (and he) really wanted to get it looking more like she had it in the Moi... Lolita vid but we (the girl that does my hair & I) couldn't really figure out how to do that for sure - and she didn't want to start cutting on my hair unless she was 90% sure she could get it very close to what I wanted.
The cut I wound up getting wasn't too much different than the "Yuna" styling I already had. It's just a little "messier" looking (as my bf puts it) and takes about 15-20 longer to get it done in the morning than before. No biggie.
I think I am going to let it grow long again (I really do miss it being longer, even if it is cooler in the summer to have it short) tho. If I do I'll keep the bangs like Alizee does 'em when she had the long curving bangs on the far sides of her face. I like that, it's cute - and allows for all sorts of fun accessorizing with different types of hair pins, barretts, and what-not. And I think that those bangs would totally rock with my "punk rock pigtails" I used to do my hair in all the time. *LOL*

- Alizée as desktop wallpaper (guilty x 192)
- Alizée as avatar/in signature (guilty)

- when you have Alizée as ringtone(not yet)
- you can't sleep without having her music playing (guilty)
- you have her twitter RRS feed showing on the lcd screen of your keyboard (guilty)
- you spend 3 hours creating perfect playlist, consisting of around 130 songs all by Alizée, with many copies and and different versions, yet equally far from each other and with good mix of different albums and languages. (guilty)
- when your friends start calling you "french lover" (guilty)
- when "you vote for her in a contest every 20 minutes for weeks" cannot be used know you are Alizée fan cause you force your friends to vote for her. (not quite)
- Personal Message on MSN is lyrics from Alizée (guilty)
- Name things in real life after her (yet to do, gimme car dammit)

- you know you're an Alizée fan if you set French as the default language on any digital device (in an effort to get used to the language) :o
Again, possibly if you simply want to learn french.
I play with french as client language in WoW.
Glyphe de Totem de Griffes de Pierre.... Someone really awesome has been translating those.

I'm guilty with the french language
my xbox, ipod touch, runescape, and several other things are all set to French
I tell the non-believers "I'm immersing myself because I want to learn and become fluent in French"
what I don't tell them is what started that :)

When you no longer consider Audiosurf a waste of $10. (The game played a major part in my hardcore Alizée listening days, had hardly played it before that)

im guilty of something similar
- when you pull into the garage just as J'en Ai Marre starts to play...... and after the song ends you realized you had closed the garage and forgot to stop the car

4) you can turn absolutely any conversation onto Alizée. ----> this definitely applies to me.
Do girls also hate Jeremy?? Usually, I just hear guys hating him and I'm a girl and I adore him. hahaha. I'm actually happy that Alizee is married, I'm tired of hearing all people thinking that they have a chance with her!
Also, you know you're an Alizee fan when you start dressing like her and doing ur hair like hers! :D

a lot of my friends threaten to beat me when i do this.. but sometimes, i just can't help it! a big glass box is positively screaming "J'en Ai Marre"!!!! or the Eiffel Tower is just begging to remind me of Alizee's performance of JPVA, and so on. :D

Yeah, it's great as long as it works, but it's way(how way? way way) more annoying when they still think/say they have a chance with her. Yeah, I know some people who can be pretty damn dumb and/or mean at times!

on the other hand, im tired of people telling me that she's married and thus i should no longer be a fan. why does her marriage have anything to do with me liking her?!
most people i talk to about her are like.. oh, she's married? then why you still so into her?
FRICK people, not everything's about marriage and sex!

EXACTLY. I had one person (someone from France, who knew of Alizée during the ML days) comment "Why do you still bother being a fan? She's married and has a kid; you don't stand a chance." Since when was listening to music and appreciating someone linked to that?! It's despicable, I swear.....
Sorry, I had to get that out.

don't even worry about it... we are going to ignore it until more information from a reliable source surfaces
------------------------------------------------------
a few more I came up with today
- when you get a response to your asking for a quote for a tatoo of Alizée (300 bucks, is that cheap? expensive? what)
- when you accidently set your dad's new laptop desktop to a picture of Alizée en concert
- when you collaborate with you and yourself on what an Alizée video game would be like, what platform it would be on, if there would be an under water level, if she would either have machine guns or a samurai sword, and if Alizée would agree to voicing her character or if they would have to get one of those horrible impersonators (i'm talking to you people who did The Mummy video game), if all her outfits would be available per level or unlockables, if anybody else besides me would buy it...........

You start saying Mademoiselle instead of Ms.
1) you can find the accented é on your computer keyboard.
It's pretty easy, atleast with european keyboard, but does anyone happen to know how to do ç?
n) When you bake a cake for Alizée's Birthday
n+1) When you like her singing the phone book

If you are inserting é by pressing alt+0233, try ç with alt+0231, for me works on european keyboard.
And to the topic,
you can listen to song that she sings 20 times in a row, till you learn the lyrics(For me it was her performance of Adélaïde)
you can stand ignoring accents over the french letters in titles of the songs
And of course all previous facts.

muahaha, you windows users need to use alt codes...
That's not true. You simply have to enable the International Keyboard in Windows and it becomes very easy to type any accents, and you don't even need to hold down more than one key at a time. And which keys to push for each one is very intuitive:
'a = á
`a = à
^a = â
"a = ä
and so on...
Silly mac users and their assumptions about what Windows supposedly can't do
:p
"a = ä
Lies, ä = ä!
alt+0231 not working :(
Well, I just keep copypasting it then, it's not every c I need it for!

You know you are a Lili fan when you can't go a single day without listening, watching, or reading something about her.
When your day doesn't feel complete if you haven't done either of the above
When you listen to her music so much that it sounds like people are speaking french when you aren't paying attention and when you focus in on their conversation you are disappointed to find that they are actually speaking english (happned today)
when you have a song stuck in your head such as Panic Switch by Silver sun pickups and half way through singing the song in your head it switches to Jen ai merre.
When you think that 2:35 of the Jen ai marre video is the cutest thing in the entire world.
When you actually think you have a shot in hell of meeting her and plan to go to France just to give it a shot.
When you think that you have an unhealthy obsession with Lili and then realize that there is no such thing as an unhealthy obsession if the name Lili is related to the conversation.
When you show your friends Lili and then punch them for makeing a comment like "I'd hit that 10 ways from sunday" because you cant stand when people disrespect her (guilty)

To which JeAM video were you referring to?
====================================
- when you used "knock on wood" but hit your head forgetting you were holding a pencil
- when you've resolved to some how, obtain the Lolita dress
- when you check AAm every hour on the hour for more development in anything
- when you spent sixty dollars at joann fabrics on materials for a flag
- when you just woke up from your dream about your mansion which featured marble statues of Alizée at several stages in her life
