How come eeeeverybody is saying that? Everybody is saying that her marriage is over, but I've never seen anything other than AAm posts saying that? Did I really miss all that or are these just assumptions? :confused:

I would just like to add for my part that I am not worried or concerned about Alizée because of this trend in getting tattoos. I also believe there is no deep, dark reason for it, nor do I think she is going through some drastic change. I think she is still the same Alizée and she just loves tattoos and is following the trend. ..... I just keep my dislike for her tattoos separate from how I feel about her music.

Me too. If something serious was going on then I don't think she'd be putting up all those instagram photos of her hanging out with friends, rehearsing at the studio, and I also think that the new album would be somewhat affected by it. But all we see are these new tats so... Maybe there's nothing wrong at all? :13:

Alizée has always been a natural beauty and I've always loved her beautiful skin as soft as it is. Well at the end of the day her tattoos are still just a drop in the ocean to me though when I think of how wonderful she is.

She will always be Alizée and she will always have the most beautiful eyes and smile I've ever seen but her spirit and her charm will always be more beautiful to me.. I can't desribe it but I know it's something wonderful! ;)

I'm not saying you have to like her tattoos, but does it change the way you feel about her music and dancing? It shouldn't. Unless you liked her for her body. But she's a musician, dancer, and entertainer first. She happens to have the body of a model, but she doesn't do runway. So why worry?... I'm wondering if Dog Boy (Rin Tin Tin) and his tattoo parlor is the one putting it in Alizée's head, that she is going to be his star attraction at the Tattoo convention he's hosting. Alizée is so hungry to be on top again, that might be the reason for these spontaneous tattoos she is plastering all over her body.

I really do believe that she is being played, at least by him (and maybe others).

If this were happening to a friend of mine I would speak out and try to get them to see things more clearly.

I thought of something not long ago. I don't know when exactly the split with Jeremy happened or how bad it was, but after you come out of a breakup/divorce or any situation that tears at you, one way to help yourself cope with the loss is to do something like change your hair or buy a whole bunch of new clothes. I can see the tattoos as a liberating thing for Alizee. Granted, I would have stopped at one or two, but I guess she decided that she really, really likes them.

I don't know if boys go through a similar process but it can be therapeutic.

Also she is 27 years old and she does not need anyone to sit down with her and tell her that she's not behaving appropriately. You can be as mad about the tattoos as you want but sentiments like "someone needs to intervene and tell her that this isn't acceptable" are silly. She dresses herself and pays her own bills and makes her own money, and is also generous enough to share herself with her audience through her pictures on Twitter and her music. It's nobody's place to tell this grown woman what she should and should not be doing with her personal life or her own skin. That's crazy.

Interventions happen with adults all the time. Anyone can drift off course at any time in their lives. The goal of an intervention is to help them to really see it. :)

By the way, I know of an intervention coming up in the next few months for someone (she is 66). You would be absolutely amazed at what some adults simply don't see (and the blocks are different for each person). There is something about having 20 people send you the same message at the same time (in person) that shocks you into being willing to look at something that you were either avoiding or simply couldn't see.

How the heck can you compare a person, let alone Alizée, to a car and a stool like that? That analogy doesn't even work. She didn't lose a leg and she wasn't "grafittied." She did get some decals though :p !

I think that could be a big part of this puzzle. I think she enjoys being the center of attention and these tatoos would indeed draw a lot of attention, but, not for the same reason. Before she was the center of attention because of the beauty of her performances. Now she may be the center of attention, but it's not because of their beauty and I'm not going to say what I think it is.

As for her other tattoos, we've never seen any hi-res photos of them so I don't know how you can call them cheap-looking and blurry. :facepalm: Maybe because they're blurry photographs. :rolleyes:

That's the only thing it's lacking. The image itself is is well-drawn. The colours and shading are great. Maybe she didn't want to merge the outline yet because she's planning on surrounding it with more things.

Well, her tattos aren't done closely to each other, so I don't think she does it this way.
The tattoo I posted isn't pure b&w it has many diffrent shades (I'm not fan of this tattoo either, it's just an example), beginng by the spiral in the center.
The bird hasn't nice, sbutle shading, it's just some blurry pseudo shadows (and no, not because of the photo quality, you can interpret how it looks in good quality) and seems - like most of her tattoos - to be out of place.
They just look like placed "somewhere", while her back tattoo and the one at her ankle are placed well.

He's the tatooist in Paris who keeps screwing up her body. I sometimes refer to him as Rin tin tin as kind of a joke. Rin tin tin was an old old tv show about a dog named Rin tin tin. Kind of a Lassee type character. He was a German shepard who was found by American troops on a ww1 battlefield near Lorraine, in a part of Europe that at that time belonged to Germany, but I believe now belongs to France. An American serviceman brought him home and he became a Hollywood star (the dog that is).

Have to say I quite like this latest tattoo. I like the fact that Snow White also has a tattoo of an anchor on her arm :)) as well as the assault rifle. It seems to make quite a clear statement to me.

Well I warned that until that event takes place next year, which is so far away, she will be geariing up for it. She wants to make a big splash then, but people wont be looking at her out of admiration, which is what she wants. It will be more of a shock and awe type of look she gets, like when civilians or even troops have just survived a massive bombing raid and she is not even close to being done.

I'd like to say more, but I'm kind of lucky that I haven't put together my pm yet. I can save what I'd really like to say for that and for now will mostly say how hugely disappointed I am with her.

One thing that's going to be interesting to see is unless she's touring, she will probably be in next year Les Enfoires show and if she is, it will be interesting to see how they present her.

Last year she looked incredibly beautiful in the wedding gown. The perfect bride. But in years past, people "used" to think of a bride of a woman who was pure. That's what the white signified and tatoos destroy that image, at least in my mind they do. Would they have put her in the same gown if she had those tatoos back then or would they have used a sleeved gown or maybe they would have put her in one of those black judges robes?

What about the performance where they wore the tutus. Would they have had second thoughts about using her? They go through a lot of trouble setting up stages and performers to achieve a certain look, a certain atmosphere, and they'd love to use her the way she was, but now, these tats will have an affect on different skits as I call them. I have to think she is tatooing her self out of a premier roll, like she seemed to have at this years show.

thats exactly it. problem is, eventually she will grow into the adult she is not yet, and when she does, well, these tats wont go away easily. even my big brother, who has no love for her, agreed. when he first heard me mention a gun-toting snow white tattoo, without knowing who it was, he said it would look b-a. but when i showed him and told him who it was, he agreed with me and said yeah its kinda weird. this isnt alizee, this is angry upset rebellious teenage-life-wanting alizee. and it not her fault, she got screwed out of that. its just sad because this happens to many singer who start at a young age. they never learn regular adult life, so when they have regular adult problems, they cant cope. we've all seen it happen. and you know, she was young when she married. she probably thought marriage is some great amazing thing. i know she wasnt entirely naive, but still. she is clearly not having an easy time of her life right now.

Here's the event I spoke of. It starts on the 22nd of march of 2013 at Tin Tin's in Paris. I think she wants to be the star of the show at this event. So we will see over 7 more months of her getting tatoos. There will many more to come.

This thing about Alizée in a rebel phase does not make sense to me. If she felt that way, she would shave her head, smoke, drink, or wear stupid costumes... It is clear that she enjoys getting the tattoos and she is thinking about the next one as soon as she just got one.

I don't think either that she is feeling like a teenager again... Tinkerbell is more known and remembered then Peter Pan himself. She is witty, strong, and feisty. Sailor Moon is basically a super hero, so not much explaining there. Snow White is smart, beautiful. The gun and tat, show that she is strong and tough.

Lili has always been strong and independent, and I think that's what her tattoos are supposed to show. Especially after what's seems to be a failed marriage, maybe the tattoos are there to remind her to be strong.

Yes, in the future, she may not need those reminders anymore, but they will still signify this time in her life, and how she got through it.

I think that most of us found Alizée highly attractive and mesmerized by her beauty, but as she continues to get tattoos, it rips a part of our love for her away... as in not finding her as attractive anymore.

We really don't know if she shops all the time or goes out to eat every night .
Even if so put ourselves in her shopping shoes , most of us would probably do the same . You got all these people wanting to take you out to eat or shop , fly you here and there . It's really no different than virtually every girl who isn't even famous that has a little bit of money or looks , half of youtube is full of haul videos girls showing off the latest purchases . Half of twitter and instagram is look what i'm eating pictures . I see all that as just how we have become this half a sentence or one word society interacting with each other .

I've got a couple few frens whom one is a billionairess R&B star always on holiday and more bling than lil ms Ali could dream of having . Another got lucky did a few commercials and theater and now is on a Disney tv show , soon she will be in major motion pictures and release her own album . The third works really hard comes from a somewhat well off family and is online musically famous . All of them are really down to earth , they take time to interact with the fans and give back to charities and such and each comes from a great family which instilled the humility . Anyway one of my favorite things of each of them is the down to earth ways but ya know even though Ali isn't as popular or doesn't seem to be as fan oriented it just doesn't bother me at all . Usually the spoiled brat ways as you put it with celebs is something which makes me have no respect for stars . After all your fans put you there and acting as such they can take it away just as quickly as the silver plate was handed . Ali along those lines just isn't that famous or rich . . There is alot worse going on in the world . While that really isn't the subject here as it is her that to me is more the issue .

It's like this , i doubt she cares that i have a robot or an Ali collection w/e so i could really care less what she does have . For the most part i just enjoy her music . Yeah i like to see her fashions and what she is up to but it's not for me to judge her lifestyle . Again i doubt she would judge any of ours if roles were reversed and i guarantee you we all do things that those of us who do judge would be like wth is wrong with this person . This whole thing of blaming Jeremy is somewhat unfair. I remember back in 2005 or 2006 reading an interview he had with a French publication. One of the questions asked was concerning when and how he had met Alizée.

I've told the story he related to the interviewer several times.

I liked the way you summed up their relationship; if I had to take a guess at it I think it would be more or less along the lines with what you said. However people keep saying, especially in the other thread, that it is Jeremy is at fault and yada yada yah! I love her so much, I really do but this is getting ridiculous... and I thought it couldn't get worse than aggro Snow White... it's her body of course she can do what she wants to do with it and what she feels comfortable with. But I still wish she would stop. This is really becoming a kind of addiction lately...

She's such a beautiful girl but all these tattoos? It's really too much. Also these cartoon characters lately... this is something I would expect do see on a body of a 16-year-old teenage girl, not a nearly 28-year-old mum... of course you are never too old for cartoons and Disney and all these stuff but seriously... it's a bit like she wants to prove something with her tattoos... that she's still young and cool and that she can do what she wants now she's away from Jérémy... well ok. Perhaps there's no meaning in these tattoos at all and she just likes them.

Also I don't really want to imagine how all these tattoos will look like when she's wearing a pretty, classy dress like she did a lot during the Enfoirés concerts... they would just destroy it...

so, it is another unattractive tattoo. i dont know how to react. theres no rhyme or reason to these things. the "aggro" snow white, forever young, the bird, now the anime character poking a sentient pile of crap with a stick. its like, you can get your arm covered in tattoos, and have it look good, if you do it right. but.. this isnt doing it right. i wonder if she knows her fans dislike it. i wonder if she if she cares. she probably doesnt. they're well done tattoos, but come on. shes getting like THE most random things that just dont flow together. i mean when it was sailor moon, i kinda let it go. snow white started to bother me. this... just doesnt make the slightest sense. what on earth could she possibly have as a good reason for this? ugh... i know shes not like mf/lb alizee any more, im cool with that. but is this what she had to turn into?

The difference here is if the person decides to shave their head in the form of a Mohawk, then colors it blue, it grows out in a few months. Tattoos on the other hand are permanent decorations embedded under your skin. They don't grow out or fade away as time goes on.

When Alizée hopefully comes to her senses, it is going to be long, painful and very expensive process to remove all these tattoos from her body. :(

I'm with Scruffydog on this one, I'm pretty sure Dog boy, Rin Tin Tin is encouraging this behavior for his Tattoo show next year.

Edit: When you've been around for a few decades you have seen a lot people around you screw up their lives doing stupid things and there was nothing you could do to help them.

On April 4th I fired an employee and it was best thing I could have done for her. I made her hit bottom with her drinking and drug addiction problem. I tried to deal with it for at least two or three months until it became a real physical safety problem for her and the people she interacted with on a daily basis.

There are lots of people in her life that wanted to help her but she didn't want any help as long as she could skate through life stoned and or drunk. Well it woke her up and she was forced to deal with her problems and accept help from her family and friends.

Her family and friends convinced to to leave her drunken loser boyfriend and move in with her sister. To read her posts on Facebook everyday makes me a very happy guy. She is going to be OK in life and she is moving on, pulling herself up and making something of herself. She has lost that defeatist and everyone is being mean to me attitude. Everything she is posting the last two weeks is coming from a person with an improving positive attitude.

agree... its her thing if she get tattoos... however now I too dont like them too, still its her private thing why she did it. Guys...she will still look great during performances with long sleeves. Just look at Psych Tour...she wore long sleeves and her legs are still as flawless as ever. Its not the end of the world that if she wears a shortsleeve/nosleeve dress that it will "ruin" "EVERYTHING". She still has amazing hair, an amazing face, flawless legs, a petite figure.
