I thought the dance was incredible, and she looked amazing in that dress. There were only a couple very minor slip-ups. It was nearly perfect. And you could FEEL the sexual tension between them. I think maybe the producers are telling the judges not to play favorites with her or something. They need it to look like more of a competition, than the same person always at the top.

I thought Tal was going to win the face a face, her dance was noticeably better than Laetitia's in my opinion. At the very end Laetitia was late and carried on dancing for a few seconds after the music ended, going over to her partner (the Prince lookalike :D) to be lifted up. No idea how she beat Tal, but there you go, Laetitia (thanks to her fans) is a strong contender after all. Alizée was sad for Tal, I was sad for Alizée :/

And yes, hopefully some of Tal's fans, with Tal's encouragement, switch over to supporting Alizée. Correct me if I'm wrong and this isn't the case but, I noticed MP's tweet seemed to say he supports Brahim? I was never really 100% convinced he and Alizée were together a while ago, but I do find it odd that he supports BZ and didn't even mention Alizée in his other tweet that was read. :13:

Agree. I hope too, Tal will be there at least in prime time to support Alizée and of course all there. It would be for Alizée good psychological support

I'm sure they'll be spending more time with each other as friends outside of DALS. And we might not get to see anything that goes on behind the scenes except for album stuff, etc.

Alizée will be okay. You have to remember that they are deep into the competition now and all of the competitors are practically friends by this time. So any loss is going to be devastating.

Seeing Tal go may have been particularly sad because they are working on an album together. But at the same time. They will still be seeing more of each other because they are working on an album with each other.

We all know how much Alizée's family and Corsica and her close friendship with dancerman mean to her, but I've also spoken of that void that was left when her and Jeremy broke up and hopefully that void will be filled someday soon, but I think this relationship with Tal had turned into something special for her. Though Alizée is about 6 years older than her, they seem to be the same age at heart. As opposed to any female friends she has on Corsica, she has so much in common with Tal.

They are both single, both singers and dancers, both beautiful. There is so much for them to share thoughts about, their careers, men, shopping. This show brings them together in a very close way. In a way I think no other show can except for maybe a DALS tour. Les Enfoires will bring them together, if they appear on it, but there are so many participants, it wont be the same. The DALS shows have kept them close before, during and after work.

I meant to post a picture when I got back from Paris,that very close by Studio 217 where the show is filmed there is a sort of apartment building where all the stars are put up. Even the single ones who live locally probably stay here to get an early start for all the practice and off stage filming that goes on.

I think this brought about a closeness between these two that will be hard to duplicate. I think it brought a level of fun into her life that she has seldom seen in the past few years. We know she doesn't cry that often and it's because she fears, it might not be the same as what they had during these few weeks. Alizée will eventually go back to her life on Corsica and Tal will eventually go back to hers. Sure they can get back together once in a while, but it probably wont ever be in the way that this show has brought them together.

No. There are all different types and levels of freindship and because of Alizee being single, that level that the freindship of a best "girl" freind can bring is so much higher and more important. Could she really confide with family or dancerman about MP or some other man that may come into her life? Can she talk to her freinds on Corsica about the latest fashion accessories? I doubt if her single female freinds on Corsica can either afford or have the same willingness to buy what she does.

Jennifer and Nolwenn were close freinds of hers, but especially with Nolwenn, she lost that "close" freindship when she moved back to Corsica.

Their is also a huge difference in having a freind who is just a short distance away that you can see and hold and cry on their shoulder as opposed to someone who's hundreds of miles away who you can only talk to over a phone. It is in no way the same. There are times when you need someone to be "there" for you.

I only pointed out the age difference because it is there. If I hadn't mentioned it, somebody else would have. I said Alizee is young at heart and that makes the age difference no real factor.

Maybe there was something else going on, like a big soccer game, but it also seems like this show is kind of long and drawn out. I also wonder too if a lot of people get turned off when the judge's votes seem to be pretty much in line with what goes on, on the dance floor, then the fan vote comes along and that all goes out the window.

By letting the fan vote count for so much, they might be pleasing the many fans of the most popular star at the time, but the larger group, the majority of the fans of the "show" are left with a bad taste in their mouth.

You don't have to buy something to be able to talk about it. You can be happy for someone to get nice and maybe expensive things if you even can't afford them. We have no idea what her friends are like but from the few photos Alizée is posting on instagram she seems to enjoy their company. And if you can't talk about this you talk about other things. You don't do the same things with all your friends. Also some of them she knows since she's a kid and her past career hasn't changed anything between them. Why would it now?

I have other friends and sometimes I don't hear from them for ages and when I see them after a year it's like I saw them just yesterday.

As far as I can see Alizée is really caring about her friends. She has always mentioned that she's a reserved and shy person and with friends you can always be like you really are. And of course you don't want to "lose" such a person even if it's only a TV show. So it's very much likely that if there would have been another close friend of Alizée, one of her "coupines", she would have cried too. Not only because of Tal.

Well anyway that's all way too off-topic but I just wanted to make that clear.

well I agree with you as always Jenny :) but one thing - its maybe just my view on the situation or the reality, but for me it seems Alizée and Tal friendship looks to be much bigger, than example with Jenifer. Maybe I think so just, I HATE really Jenifer, most after the thing how she "copied" Alizée. And look, Alizée knows Jenifer really long, much longer then Tal. But except some performaces in TV, they never made something together. And now, Tal choose Alizée to make a duo. Maybe its just cause the time together in DALS, or thanks really a big friendship :) I hope for the BIG friendship :)

Jean-Marc said that he was disappointed in the technical part of the performance as she apparently "entangled" her legs though he was satisfied on the artistic side.

As to Pietra , she noticed some progress as far as the wild/felineness of the dancing is concerned but she criticized the couple for dancing too fast for this kind of tango .

Chris , said that they were desynchronized and lacked sensuality

Lastly , Shy'm sad in a word that she had a mixed impression about it.

I didn't want to say anything against Tal's & Alizée's friendship. I just feel like you sometimes read too much into things...

Sometimes I think you don't read enough into things. I think with me what it all goes back to is that big hole left in her life when she seperated from Jeremy. Sure she is blessed that she has a tremendous love for her family and her home, but what do you think goes through her mind when she goes to bed at night alone with her memories? What do you think she thinks about when she goes out to a restaurant or a bar at night with dancerman and sees a couple hugging and kissing in a corner? What do you think she thinks when she sees some handsome guy dancing with a beautiful young woman? She is reminded certainlly every week and maybe every day of what she doesn't have.

What do you think her idea of a perfect life was? I'd say the main elements would be a husband and a child or for her would it be children. Well there's no husband and if she wanted a little brother or sister for Annily, it looks like that might not happen. So I think as much as she does have, her picture of a perfect life isn't what she wanted it to be.

Back in 1996 when I was living about 1,000 miles south of here, I got divorced after a 15 year relationship. A year later I got into another relationship with a wonderful woman. Well a couple of years later, my company decided to pull out of that state. It's a long story, but to stay in my line of work, I had to move and it led to the break up of that relationship. So I moved up here and the women I met just weren't the same. It led to a lot of deep depression in my life.

Now I have 2 brothers and a sister who are all married with kids. I love them all and I get along with the in-laws great, though I can't say they get along with each other very well. As much as I love and care about them, I used to hate going over their places for the holidays or any other day for that matter. It would remind me of what I didn't have. The holidays being extra depressing. I had wished my company would mandate I'd have the work 24 hours on a holiday, but no such luck and I wonder if Alizee goes through the same thing when she visits some of her married freinds.

Well that all changed the day I found out about Alizee. I get an enormous amount of enjoyement out of visiting them now. For me finding out about Alizee has been like finding an incredible freind, a freind like no other. There are several guys I work with who I get along great with and we go out once in a while for a beer or two. Unfortunately they aren't Alizee fans. We've talked about going on vacations together but now since I spend most of my time in Europe, that seems to no longer be the case. But with some of these guys I go out with once in a while, there are some I'd like to go on a vacation with, some not. Some I'd like to go golfing with, some not. Some I'd like to share my concerns about life with and some not. So there are all different levels of friendship. At least certainly for me, but I can't speak for you. Maybe all your friends are on the same plateau. I don't know. We are all different.

But it just goes to show how at least for me, one friendship, can mean so much more than another. It doesn't have to be an Alizée to set someone apart from others and I'm saying this short term friendship with Tal was special for her. . They were mirror images of each other with so much in common and they were having so much fun. Even if Tal hadn't been eliminated, it still had to end in the coming weeks and I don't think it will ever be the same for what they had here. I think it was a time that meant a lot to Alizée. It helped her forget about that big empty spot in her life and that's something she really needed.

Back in 1996 when I was living about 1,000 miles south of here, I got divorced after a 15 year relationship. A year later I got into another relationship with a wonderful woman. Well a couple of years later, my company decided to pull out of that state. It's a long story, but to stay in my line of work, I had to move and it led to the break up of that relationship. So I moved up here and the women I met just weren't the same. It led to a lot of deep depression in my life.

Sorry to hear that man.. I think more people than you realize can relate to that though.. well at the very least I think maybe Alizée has become your safe haven.. a place of light.

Other advice: mothers shouldn't simplify the way they talk to their children . I always talked to Annily as if she understood everything . When she was really young , I used to talk to her as an adult . There's nothing best than explaining things as they are. Children are often way more intelligent than adults to understand some kind of things.

Sometimes I think you don't read enough into things. I think with me what it all goes back to is that big hole left in her life when she seperated from Jeremy. Sure she is blessed that she has a tremendous love for her family and her home, but what do you think goes through her mind when she goes to bed at night alone with her memories? What do you think she thinks about when she goes out to a restaurant or a bar at night with dancerman and sees a couple hugging and kissing in a corner? What do you think she thinks when she sees some handsome guy dancing with a beautiful young woman? She is reminded certainlly every week and maybe every day of what she doesn't have.

Did I ever question that she would feel this way? Did I ever say anything like that? No. I didn't.


But it just goes to show how at least for me, one friendship, can mean so much more than another. It doesn't have to be an Alizée to set someone apart from others and I'm saying this short term friendship with Tal was special for her. . They were mirror images of each other with so much in common and they were having so much fun. Even if Tal hadn't been eliminated, it still had to end in the coming weeks and I don't think it will ever be the same for what they had here. I think it was a time that meant a lot to Alizée. It helped her forget about that big empty spot in her life and that's something she really needed.

Same as above. I never said anything that would indicate that I don't think Tal's presence during the show wasn't special for Alizée.

But it seems like I hit a nerve there - sorry for that - so it might be the best to stop talking about this topic.

Getting back to names again, Pokora was a name I certainly had never heard before, but I read how he got that name and part of that story involved a grandmother of Polish descent and it was easy to associate him being part Polish with the name Pokora because they both started off with the same 2 letters.

That was wicked awesome, from an artistic perspective. I'm no dancer but maybe that cat Chris knows a thing or two about the technical aspects of dancing the Rumba. It's easy to get caught up in the charm and magic that is Alizée- happens to me all the time, and if I were a judge on DALS, she'd get all 10s :)

i agree the trio dance was one of the best yet!

however I do understand the 7 that was given. There were mistakes, or at least moves that could have been cleaner, and more fluid. Pretty much ever pick-up or lift they did with the exception of the running jump off the girls back, (which was freakin awesome) was choppy at parts, seemed more forced then graceful.

still an amazing performance though!

Wow! I knew 10s were coming when I began to feel an energetic flow to the dance (difficult to describe, and this is the first of her dances where I felt it). I could "feel" that it was unfolding perfectly. Don't ask me how, I just knew. I expected at least 2. I'm glad she got 3. :)

Also, I think Chris was a bit harsh, even for Chris. She deserved an 8 from him.

At least Laetitia should have gotten a 5 from him on the first dance. If 7 was right for Alizée then 5 was correct for Laetitia. She was not dancing well at all today and, to the credit of the judges, she was scored accordingly overall.

Also, the Charleston was FUN. It was a style of dance that she could shine with - fun and energetic - and she did great. Her playful side was presented nicely. I think they did a great job with the choreography - moving from traditional to more modern and then back again as the song changed.

I expected a 9 from Shy'm on the first dance. She disappointed me. She is being a little harsher on Alizée than some of the others. The complexity of the routine deserved a 9 from her.

Another great week for Alizée. May she have 2 more. :)

I think it's too bad for him that he seemed to force himself upon her in the beginning. In fact on my recent very short trip to Paris to film Alizée singing Dear Darlin, one of the few places I visited was the Basilica of St Denis where many of the former kings and queens of France are buried including Marie Antoinette and her husband King Louis XVI. What a rollercoaster...
The live stream kept dying so I only got one screencap :\ That was crazy stressful, then winning the marathon, surprise face a face and the big win :D

The best part though was the restaurant. It reminded of Alizée herself surprising Jessica at the shoes store in Stars A Domicile. It was very moving, and interesting to see Alizée being the surprised one. :)

Just for everyone's information, Alizée was clearly not comfortable in that dress. There are several examples through the various videos where she shows she clearly would have preferred a different outfit.

Funny, how people on Twitter think. I don't know much about this marathon dancing thing, but seems the judges based their decision on technique and creativity? Maybe Alizée and Gregoire were better. Why do these people get upset at Alizée? Go figure.
