Facebook finally came up with the last service that Myspace offered exclusively, but of course Facebook does it far better. Very nice!

remember that there are several people claiming to be Alizée ;) , so you can't be sure its the right one without further information, even on Facebook.

On her offical site there's a face-book link at the bottem of the page.

rcs: Yes on both counts, though I'm happy to hang out with her on either.

Myspace isn't dangerous unless you do something silly, but it's still a much more frequent target for unpleasant people than Facebook is.

Facebook always strikes me as much more professional, though, and I definitely prefer it for interacting with my friends.

Better? Most certainly. For a pure social site, Facebook is easier. Myspace might be more customizable, but that isn't always a good thing. Pretty much the only thing myspace has over Facebook, the music, isn't that important. Especially with the new "Fans Of" application.

Safer? About the same, really.

One difference is that Facebook seems to emphasize real names as opposed to the display names of MySpace. The fragile veneer of anonymity that we maintain here will be stripped away.

When Facebook was created, it was a collegiate networking site, designed for 4-year university students and grad students to connect with others in academia. You couldn't get in without an .edu email address. That lasted a couple years, but then the powers that be decided they wanted to make lots of money, so they opened it up (against much protesting and gnashing of teeth by the members) to anybody.

It's lost the exclusivity, but it retains a sense of being more about the real person than a fake net-identity. Myspace is... well... it's Myspace.

Looking at the background, it seems lie she did it rather early.

Hmm, looks like she was leaving for somewhere. (Maybe Jeremy is taking her to some place) and it just came to her mind that she can take one photo for her fans. So, she quickly did it in her car (if I'm guessing it correctly). Then she secretly uploaded that photo to her page. ;)

Please post all the updates from her facebook page on this thread. If some update about some event, like Les Enfoires is posted on her page, then instead of using this thread, use Les Enfoires thread only. For all those types of updates, which are not related to any specific event, use this thread.

I hope that this thread would give some idea of how often she has said something to her fans. (I remember one post where scarcity of words for fans by her was mentioned)

It sounds like a good song. I think it should go well. It's just too bad he wasn't a litttle younger (61). It would add a lot more chemistry to the song if he was.

I believe the literal transaltion of the title is Clara wants the moon. Is this correct, and does anyone know when this video was made?

and one little side question, a couple of times in this video they show views of two office buildings that at first glance look a little bit like the former twin towers in NY. Are these buildings in Paris?

After seeing the video (thanks Scruff), I am very excited to see how Alain and Alizee will adapt it to sound more modern, especially since it will be a duet. Can't wait to see the results!

It looks like Alizée will be preforming on <a href="http://www.actu-loisirs.com/2011/05/balavoine-evidemment-sur-tf1.html" target="_blank">Balavoine Evidemment</a>.

I think it will be televised (sur TF1) but I don't see any confirmation of that or a date/time of broadcast…

From what I know I was told the 31st. Florent Mothe and Melissa are both in Toulouse that day on the 28th doing Mozart. Sooooo I think someone has there dates wrong.
