No, I'm not saying there's a connection, though... maybe...

The most famous song in the movie is "Hi Lili, Hi Lo" (nickname for Lolita).

I doubt her parents (?) thought her as a Lolita when they gave the nickname.

The poster is lovely btw...

Fall in love
all over again
with Lili

That's what we do all the time !

I watched the video again for five times and again.. she pronounced her nickname Weedee, she is not saying Lee Lee as we would hear it in english.

When french say love in english.. do they say.. Wove? Do French have a hard time pronouncing their.. L's

Nobody knows how she got her nickname, interesting. Or even if she has a middle name or what that might be if she has one.

Ok, I've listened at 7:50 like you said and at first I heared her reply like "wee-lee" indeed! (but not "wee-dee")
I've tried again with the sound louder, and I really heared "lee-lee" this time. I'd say it's a matter of sound quality of the flv (so it's all Brad's fault ). Try again with the volume higher!

i clearly hear her saying 'Lee Lee' ... I think you have it in your head a certain way and it sounds like that to you.

and her nickname certainly comes from 'Alizee' .. i don't think there is any disputing that.

Man, Alizee could clear all this up if she only would come on here and put us all in our place!

Alizee could clear so much confusion up.. just POST Alizee.... P O S T!

You know what.. even if she posted.. most would doubt it was really her, lol

Okay i heard Lee Lee this time..after turning the volume up to max.. they talk so damn fast.. slow down Alizee!!!

I have no idea what it means .. but i like it when she ads the 'sh' sound .. extra cute (if that is possible)..

Also, while I am posting .. even though I know that 'Lili' is pronounced 'lee lee' .. i still say 'Lilly' in my head when I read it. I felt I had to get that off my chest .. lol
