You could have an aortic aneurysm which is just a dilation of the main artery coming off your heart. This happens in people that have defects in connective tissue, such as Marfans. (Are you tall like Abraham Lincoln?). This would explain the throbbing sensation in your back. This may be part of the reason for the x-ray; the dilatation can be seen pretty easily.


I would stay on top of all the tests/studies ordered for you. It is important to get to a diagnosis without delays so you can start treatment.

BTW, are you bruising easily, feeling fatigued, fever, bone pain, swelling in your legs, abdominal pain?

I have been feeling fatigued and have been having abdominal pain, sadly my results for some reason haven't come in yet so I'm going back to the doctor today to see the outcome of my X-ray. He says he has my results for sure now.

Hmmm.....cancers suck. Even if these are good signs of cancer though, it might just be you not having a proper daily routine. That happened to me a few years ago and my back and neck aches constantly. But i got used to it, if its just an abnormal routine, then you'll be fine in 2 weeks at the most. I hope you luck on the x-ray results too.

P.S. geezus, Barrett, how often do you change your icons?!?!

I'm planning to stay with this one, I think it best represents my soul and my passion.

Sorry that I didn't say anything for a while because after viewing the results of my x-ray I went to my wife and parents graves and said a few prayers, and told that I wish they were here.
Well, I'm sorry guys I'm going in for surgery on July 25 for the plum sized tumor they found growing on my spine. Well, God works in mysterious ways and well maybe I'll see my parents and wife in Heaven.
