It's actually city hall Paris and I haven't done enough research yet to figure out why they call it the Hotel de ville. I asked a couple of Parisians when I was there in April if it had been a hotel at one time, but they seemed to be quite confident, such was not the case.
In French, a hôtel can essentially refer to any distinguished building, especially one that is accustomed to seeing many people.

Even regular mansions, or other large private households, would sometimes be named hôtels.

And then you have the numerous Hôtel Dieu (God's hostel), which are known nowadays as hôpitaux - hospitals.

Btw, i can see why Paris is such a unique city, you drive for about 5 miles or so and wham, you fall off the edge and onto a blank field, and off in the distance, you can see giant words that stretch half of Paris
when i get there, i'll plant a flag on the smiley face with the glasses in the corner, hahahaha.....ok, i have a sudden urge to nuke the eiffel tower
actually, no, thats just the stupid side of me that shows when im tired or drunk....Btw, if your reading this FBI, YOUR ALL MORONS AND IM ABOUT TO NUKE THE WHITE HOUSE AT 10PM TOMORROW,

Cool Land of Alizée!

You do have to be very careful once you do get aboout 5 miles outside of Paris. You do fall off the edge of what was once considered France but is now considered the land of Alizée.

It's actually larger than the Olympia theater where she filmed her En Concert DVD and you have to remember that her latest album wasn't all that popular in France so she probably wouldn't want a larger venue.

The m in the white circle stands for a metro station. That's there subway system and it's a great way for getting around Paris. The + symbols are pharmacies in case you celebrate too much after the concert.
The long red line on the left half of the picture is the Champs Elysees. The famous avenue leading up to the Arc de Triumphe.
I'll post this map again. Hopefully with clearer labels

Cool Better map

I posted a little clearer map than before. I also included the picture of a young lady pointing the way to Paris!
