OK, I have a wacky idea I'm going to float before the group...just go with me on this for a second, here...

This Sunday, the 28th, I'd like to propose we have an all-day Alizée vote-athon. What I'm thinking is that I'll set up a voicechat/discussion room over at Talkshoe where we can basically hang out, and amuse and support each other throughout the day as we engage in some hardcore Lili-voting over at MTVLA.

Talkshoe is free to join, and free to call into as long as you're using their internal "shoephone" VOIP. (You can also call in via Skype or landline, but then you're incurring long-distance fees. For some reason, they don't allow Skyping into Talkshoe directly, which is stupid, but whatever...) Theoretically, hundeds of people can join in the chat at once, though naturally I'm not anticipating that big a turn-out. And even if you don't have a headset and mic, or you're just shy, you can still hang out, listen in, and participate on the integrated chatroom.

I'm not suggesting that everybody has to hang out for the whole day (although it'd be cool if you wanted to)--I know there's homework to be done, tests to study for and family obligations to attend to, etc. But if we could get a fair-sized bunch of us together, voting en masse for even a few hours, it could really go a long way towards boosting Lili's numbers. And it could be fun.

Speak up if you're interested, and I'll happily set it up.

Definitely. I don't know if I'll be in all day(depends on if I have to go to work or not) but I'll be around as much as possible.

Well, I don't know if you read my previous suggestion or not(if not, that's ok, I'm used to having my suggestions ignored), but have you tried listening to Alizée as you vote? And for me, the knowledge that I'm voting for something that Alizée ACTUALLY WANTS(unlike certain other things that seem to have a higher priority around here) is a major bonus. And you're right, I haven't done it 1000 times... I've done it 1306 times(and counting!). However, my goal is 2000, so I have a long ways to go. I'll keep voting after I reach it, though.

Where did she say she wanted this?

It's not WHERE she said it, it's WHO she said it to... And you'd know that answer if you were on LTUSA.

What do you think? What is the only poll that really gets any attention around here?

Now I must go, as I am almost at 1400 votes.

Why don't you go on LTUSA and find out? After all, did I not say that's where you would find out?

You know it'd be a lot more convenient to just tell me or at the very least provide a link. But okay, after going through ten pages of "Alizée nominated for a MTVLA VOTE!!" all I found was, "She really wants to win this thing, to prove to herself that she is popular in North America". Which doesn't have very much credibility with no actual quotes from Alizée or references.

She put it on her MySpace.
She didn't put Radio Atlantis on MySpace.

So obviously you can point to which she feels more important.
If one can vote for something as cheap as Radio Atlantis, then one can easily just vote for something she's obviously pointed out.
