Alizée video performance in Alcala Spain in 2003

I always loved the way Alizée looked in her performance on May 16th of 2003 when she sang both Moi Lolita and J'en ai marre at the Festival de Alcalá de los Gazules in Spain, but there were two problems with the only video I could find on line to download. First the resolution wasn't that good, second there were some annoying stripes running along the bottom which I assume was from it being recorded on a vhs tape deck that wasn't tracking properly. I tried finding a better video but couldn't. It looked like it was televised or taped for tv so you'd think there would be a better video out there but I searched to no avail. There wasn't anything I could do about the resolution on the video that was available, but I was able to trim away those annoying stripes at the bottom..

I split the two videos up and then I uploaded them to Rapidshare. I also uploaded them to Youtube. As I'm sure most of you know, when you upload a video to Youtube, The resolution you see is not as good as the original file, however the files on Rapidshare that you can download are as good as the original. So I posted the Youtube videos here so you can see which videos I'm talking about and I posted the Rapidshare link so you can download the better quality ones if you'd like to..

Cool, you seem to know a bit about video encoding. Does it have anything to do with your job or is it more a hobby thingy? I'm gonna watch the performance as soon as rapidShare let's me.

I'm an aircraft mechanic so what I know about working with videos has nothing to do with my job. I've tried working with videos many times in the past and on most occassions ran into obstacles that kept me from being any good at it. It's only until I found out about Alizée that I became determined to become better at it, no matter how much time and how much trial and error it took and it did take a lot of both. I am by no means an expert and still have an awful lot to learn, but if Alizée keeps singing, I will be an expert one day!
