I look at things as realistically as I can. Not being able to get to France, I understand that my chances of meeting Alizée are diminished quite a bit already. However, I try to keep an optomistic point of view and would love to be able to meet Alizée, or at least see her in concert once before I die.

If neither of these things come to pass, I am fortunate to have been able to listen to her music and gaze upon her magnificance, at the very least. I am thankful for that opportunity.

So I would really be talking to myself...

So, I would (of course) win the argument so it would be ok for me to meet Alizeé!

Now, if I could just convince my wife that I really, REALLY do need to fly to Paris for a week...

JK, honestly, I wouldn't be too upset. I (and we) have my own conception of Alizée as an immaculate, transcendent, mysterious being. Who knows how much of that conception would be destroyed in a face-to-face encounter

. I am content to appreciate her as a fan from afar, although it would be pretty sweet to meet her in person.

Alizée is sent to earth by God to spread happiness and joy, so why would God do something like that? Who else but God could create such a flawless being?

Unfortunately going to Paris for a week is much easier than actually getting to see Alizée.
