I never really got into it much as a kid, oddly, despite the fact that I adored the movie. (That might have been it, though--even as an eight year-old, I was kind a purist.)

I did have all the toys, though!
Wow you are such a nerd

Yeah, turns out without even knowing it I've been a fan of the guy for pretty much my entire life.

He was actually the head writer and developer of the first season, which was a whopping 78 episodes long since it included the show's only syndication package. So even though it ran for an additional five seasons after he left (in protest over the network deciding to "dumb it down" for kids), he worked on over half the total episodes.

Right now the DVD set's only available through Time Life Online/Mail Order, but five volumes are supposed to be coming out in stores over the course of next year, if you want to only pick up the good ones.

And yeah, I had the toys too. Great stuff! And in pre-school the teachers wouldn't let us play Ghostbusters because someone would usually ended up getting hurt. So my parents always tell me this story of how I developed a system of secret signs and signals us kids could use to play it without the teachers noticing.

Oh yeah, nerd power!

Here is one of my favorite trailers for a game. The Witcher. A really great RPG, I liked the trailer without the voice behind it but I couldn't find it. Same trailer just has a voice behind it at the start.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/27143.html link so you can watch in HD.

There are some other intros and trailers to games I like, but this is one of my favorites.
