As far as the PC vs. consoles war, we'll never sway each others opinions. The only thing that console players will say in our favor is that our graphics are better. The only thing that PC players will say in favor of consoles is... well their systems are much easier to set up, but I like the challenges associated with computer gaming.

+1 for you. That's one thing I like about PC Gaming is working under the hood, upgrading the parts, which you can't do in consoles, tweaking, benchmarking, kinda like the people who work on their cars to replace the engines, the exhaust, and all these various customizations, to make their cars look and perform better. That's part of the beauty of PC Gaming. It's always been like that going back.

Speaking of graphics, here's a comparison of PC/Xbox 360/PS3 graphics for MWF2:

Not a surprise that the PC looks better even with the lower resolution that they used so they could compare it to the consoles.

I am simply saying the pc market is failing compared to the consoles which is completely factual.

The PC market has not got back to the level since it's peak in 1999 but it will never get to the point where it will completely disappear, it's kinda like the music industry which did not reach the level of sales this decade (no one has broken MJ 's Thriller sales record) like they did in the past for obvious reasons but they still make music, 20 years from now they will still make music just like they will make PC games. It always amazes me how much support thier is still for the PC with 10 million playing WOW, even a game like Crysis sold millions of copies which I will admit was surprising given that it was the most demanding game in the history of video games. And as long as Intel, AMD, nVidia keeps churning out faster and better chips (which show know signs of stopping) developers will continue to make games for the most powerful gaming platform.

I just hope that IW releaes patches so we could play with more than 18 people and also mod tools. There were really some awesome mods and levels in COD 4. I would like see that implemented in this game. I will just have to wait see....

I just read an article about how the pc "boycott" of MW2 didnt make a dent in the sale. Just more reason for IW to not care about them. But I do sympathize with PC gamers, I used to be one and I know how important dedicated servers are. PC gaming is just too expensive these days, and most games only work on Windows, which is pure evil to me. I really wish Apple would let people run OS X on any hardware, I miss building PCs from the ground up.

Yeah many people caved and bought the game anyway. I had to because I had a couple friends who bought it. It sure is fun with a group of friends. And hackers already worked around IWNet to allow dedicated servers which I will look into but I'm afraid it may be pretty complicated...
