No, it's that I don't consider voice overs a performance and that is what most of her covers consist of.
I see your point, I'm aware that her performance and voice quality on the Psychedelices Concerts was not the best we've seen her do, and focusing on these live concert perfomances(La Isla Bonita, 99 Red Balloons, and The Sound of Silence) they were really bad managed, not the best performed, and bad concert organizing for not having the proper preparations for these songs and hers also.

However, I want to ask now that it has been brought up, so these covers and perfomances are they even considered live covers?:

May someone please clarify which one can be considered a live cover?
I love the way she has performed these "songs"/"covers"/"singles" at the level of the original artists and in some cases (in my taste) performing a better version of the song, this can be done by very few artists, and she's one of them.

Edit: Ah ok thanks Maquis and Jung for clarifying my doubts

It depends what you expect, you can't really compare a studio version with a live version, especially when you move the whole concert.
She lacked breath, but it's not like you can't work on that.

Besides the new version of this song doesn't really emphasize her voice, it would have been interesting to hear the latino version in live, which is more calm and natural, I'm sure everybody would have prefered it.

@Alex.

All the songs you posted are live covers, minus "La Isla Bonita", "Ella Ella L'a" and "Adélaïde", which were recorded before the show, that's how managers wanted it.

EDIT: I forgot "Il jouait du piano debout" from Hit Machine, but Hit Machine... it's not an example, most artists record their songs before the performances, even most super famous artists who always sing live, it's lame, but there are exceptions.

I'm pretty sure I just did. It is what separates performers from studio artists.

It can't get more obvious.
You still have to take in consideration all the factors that differ with a studio recording.

But it's not like this "debate" will go anywhere, it looks like you're holding a grudge or something, and every single post is about critisizing her and lowering her in every way, I'm sure some people who read you wonder why you're even posting, know that I'm not being mean, I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be easier for you to just leave if you hate her so much?

Myself, I wonder what happened, it's your right to think what you want, but to me it's really vague.

What if you compare her with Melissa Mars?
If you're as fan of her as we are of Alizée then you might find it insulting I know.

Would you mind explaining what triggered that hatred?
Either way, at least I tried.

And I come in peace.

Performers have no problem working through the "factors". Truly some artists can play or sing better live than they can in a studio. Alizee at one time was a rather decent performer, but she needs to have the push and drive from others.

Compare all you like, but I assure you that it will be you who will find it insulting. I rarely find stuff insulting.

Just treating her how she treats people

Some artists are more gifted than others, others work and try to fill in the gaps.

I don't really compare artists together, I can love two completely different artists without having to compare their qualities, imperfections, their world and style etc...

So no, there is no way I can find it insulting, it's subjective after all.

That's what I thought.
She must've been really evil.

Lack of informations, her doubts, personal choices most "fans" can't accept etc...

She comes and go, most think by doing that she doesn't respect her fans.

Perhaps there is another reason.

It's called practice, some artists do and some don't.
