Actually the crappy French with signs of emerging from an on-line translator is probably good evidence for these silly folk that we're not French pretenders to foreignness.

Too bad you can't post that on ChartsinFrance! Unbelievable that some of those cretins still doubt that her american fans are for real..it only takes a few clicks to get here after all. Or these are simply Alizée-haters who know better and do it on purpose.. |

Is there a good enough understanding of this song yet so someone can put it into layman's terms so stupid people like me can understand it?
In the first melody, she is being hunted. Hunted by who? In the second melody, she says she has to leave N.Y. city, a city she loved. Now she's going to the Hesperides. I guess from these interpretations we've had so far, that means she is going to Eden. Is this Eden in fact Corsica? But what is she saying in the last part of the second melody. When she says I will go dress, does that she is going to treat the physical wounds or maybe wounds of the heart and what exactly do the timid big cats and the wounded swan represent? Big cats, is that kind of like big shots? Quote:

There is a Buddhist story about a wounded swan coming from the childhood of Prince Siddhartha (the future Buddha). Siddhartha's cousin shot a swan in flight. It fell where Siddhartha could reach it first, and he took it and nursed it back to health. His cousin insisted that, having shot the swan, it belonged to him. The two boys took the question to the local wise man, who ruled that a life belonged to the one who saved it, not the one who tried to destroy it. In some versions of the story, Siddhartha is said to have gone him one better by releasing the swan to freedom, saying that its life belonged to the bird itself.

Confirming I'm not a ventilator!

Ok, THAT made me lol! No, I'm not a ventilator, might need one if I keep laughing like that (DAM BABBLEFISH!) How do I say "I'm a fan" of Alizée" instead of "I'm a small electronic device for moving air around a room..."?

Je suis un fan d'Alizée.
It's an English loan word but it's in common use.
