Tell me about it! I can count on one hand the number of Canadians I've run into on the various forums, but today it's the ninth most-viewed video in Music for us, and the 45th most viewed overall! This is nothing short of amazing to me!

As I was saying to Lefty yesterday on Twitter, this just proves to me what I've always believed: that Alizée has a much greater "casual" fanbase, here and worldwide, than the forum community memberships would indicate. I just hope it translates into sales for her. All the more reason to make the album easily and affordably available online worldwide!

I couldn't agree more.

As I said yesterday on Twitter, I had hoped the USA would do better, but it's better than I expected. I would love to know if these numbers represent just total views per country, or if there is some other factor being included in their calculation. Either way, this looks really good for Alizée, assuming it translates into sales.

I noticed the other day when the video came out, there was a definite bump in UEDS's standing on the US Amazon site. So at least some of this interest is turning into sales, even in the US. Again, who knows how this relates to actual units sold.
