My mind was blasted when I learned that the actor for Lt. Winters is actually British.. he had a flawless American accent!

And Simon Pegg was in it too, which was interesting.

You see a lot of British actors do perfectly fine American accents.
Just goes to show your American accent perhaps isn't that hard to emulate if people are already fluent in English. (>^.^)>

Bck on subject, I just finished 'Imagine That'. Mostly a kid movie, but family was watching it in the living room, so I juat kinda sat down and watched. It was ok, though I wouldn't recommend it for a rent unless you have young kids or sibblings.

If I watch Alvin and the Chipmunks the Sqeakqual ever again, I am going to start snapping necks! My 4 yo cousin has watched it 5 times in 2 days, and seriously, it is TERRIBLE! How could you make so much money by taking songs that already exist, and just increasing the pitch?! Thankfully they didn't originate in France, so we may never have to hear Her Grace's songs ruined like this! I would have to open a can of whoop-arsenal!!!

Nostalgia at its finest. The movie that taught me English.

Edit:

I was just watching Saving Private Ryan as I was running, and I just realized that they were listening to Edith Piaf.

(I think this is the place that I first heard about her...?)

Huh? You misunderstood me. I was watching Saving Private Ryan, and as they are waiting for the Nazis right before the final battle of the movie, they're just sitting around and that's when they listen to Edith Piaf.
