I just read the old thread and have the following comments:

Actually, the 2007 Alizee birthday party was put together by a number of people and was successful. Members CFHollister and Cooney made the announcement on this website and organized the attending fans from this website. The actual in-bistro party organization and hosting of the party was done by a prior AA member, GuldeBrett, and Chef/Owner Bertrand of La Creme Brulee Bistro, although, everyone helped put up the decorations.

Cooney displayed his large collection of Alizee memorabilia; CFHollister provided a little gift pack and some other attending fans provided other small memorabilia. Chef Bertrand made his restaurant available, provided a traditional Corsican meal and designed and made the fancy Alizee cake. GuldeBrett designed the Alizee flyer/announcement, provided the funds (nearly $1000) which included the decorations, party favors, games, most of the prizes, virtual concert DVD, Alizee and other videos, and the very large Alizee posters that each fan got at the end of the night.

If anyone seriously decides to put on another Alizee party please let me know, as I would like to attend.
